Title: P.S. I love you!
Fandom(s) : U-KISS
Pairing(s): PiroSiro, Kemaru
Rating: PG-13
Genre: Fluff
Word Count: 4,088 words

Warnings: Probable wrong gender for SiroSiro. I assume he she UGH-IDK is a girl.
Author's Notes: I gave Kibum the one without his name nor Kevin’s. Just a love story between PiroPiro and SiroSiro, lol.

No one knew, Kibum smirked, that PiroPiro wasn’t just his merchandise, wasn’t just a headrest / bedroom slipper / bolster / whatever else it was.

PiroPiro was…

Him.

He was surprised no one drew the link. His members have been talking about how he’s the heaviest sleeper in U-KISS already, being able to sleep everywhere. Isn’t that if enough of a hint?

As for being from Tired Planet, well, that just meant he’s from U-KISS. He wanted to conquer Earth with U-KISS’s music. Obvious much?

-

“I want to conquer this blue and green thing, MaroMaro.” PiroPiro told his little pet while patting his head lovingly. “Are you with me?”

“Woof! Woof!” MaroMaro barked, smiling cutely. “Woof! Woof! Woof! Woof!”

“What's that?” PiroPiro laughed heartily, ruffling the short strands of hair all over the dog. “You'll be with me wherever I go? Such a nice doggy~!”

MaroMaro is PiroPiro's favourite pet, not only because he has an endearing character, but also because the two grew up together. On the planet of all tiredness, also known as Tired Planet, PiroPiro would have been alone without MaroMaro. As such, he just crowned himself the Prince of Tired Planet, and his dog, the loyal attendant.

“We'll leave for this planet as soon as possible, and conquer it! I'm going to be the Prince of Universe!”

“Woof! Woof!”

-

PiroPiro started planning how he would get to the blue-green planet, which is better known as the Earth. He was supposed to leave a week after, but he took eight months.

Lazy PiroPiro.

MaroMaro wagged his tail, biting PiroPiro's fingers gently. He was becoming impatient, having been all geared up and excited to visit Earth already, yet his owner only knew how to sleep. The Prince opened his eyes tiredly, ruffling the fur of MaroMaro while yawning.

“Hm? What is it, MaroMaro?” PiroPiro smiled gently, about to return to sleep when MaroMaro licked his face. “Wah, are you bored?”

MaroMaro wagged his tail even more furiously. “Woof! Woof! Woof!”

“Oh, you want to go on that blue green thing? All right, fine, we’ll leave tomorrow.” PiroPiro yawned, lying back down.

MaroMaro pouted sadly.

“Woof.”

PiroPiro got back up and sighed. “All right, we’ll leave now…”

“Woof! Woof!” MaroMaro grinned widely, running in circles while PiroPiro got their spaceboat ready.

MaroMaro wanted to help, but PiroPiro never let his dog do anything. He was a precious friend. Thus, PiroPiro placed all the food they have into the boat and brought their makeshift beds along for their trip. Conquering might take some time, so he better be prepared.

“Come on, MaroMaro!” PiroPiro called, and MaroMaro came running, jumping into the spacious spaceboat. “We’ll set off now~ Let’s say goodbye to Tired Planet.”

“Woof! Woof!”

“Byebye! We’ll bring more people back here, so don’t worry.” PiroPiro waved to the planet, watching it grow smaller and smaller as they moved across the galaxy onto Earth.

-

SiroSiro was...

Kevin.

That boy that looked like a girl, the reason why Kibum drew a cat and called SiroSiro a fox. Cunning little Kevin, tricked him the first time he met the younger boy.

He still remembered that Kevin was slightly distant (and just a tad bit mean) when he first joined XING. It took some persuasion on Kibum’s side for Kevin to join the other members for every other thing than practice. Since then, everyone believed Kevin was a really cute boy.

Only Kibum knew the truth.

-

“AHHHHHHH”

PiroPiro and MaroMaro both screamed, as their boat went insane and was unstoppable. They were moving too quickly, and from what the both of them could see, they were heading straight for the ground.

“AHHHHHHHH!”

“Who’s killing the peace?” An annoyed voice sounded, but was unheard over the loud screams. “Argh!”

“Oww.” PiroPiro whined as their boat crashed, the front of it caving in due to the impact. “MaroMaro, are you okay?”

“Woof.” A soft whimper, but MaroMaro looked pretty fine.

“Looks like it’ll be kind of hard to get back.” A sad pout could be seen on PiroPiro’s face while he unloaded all that he had onto Earth.

“Who are you, invader?” A fox with a pretty high-pitched voice asked fiercely.

“Oh, who are you?” PiroPiro questioned back, curious. “Are you a female or a male?”

“I’M A FEMALE DESERT FOX.” The fox bellowed angrily, instantly not liking PiroPiro. “I’m SiroSiro, and this is my land. Or at least part of this is my land.”

“I’m PiroPiro, Prince of Tired Planet. I came to conquer Earth!” PiroPiro confidently replied. “This is my dog, MaroMaro.”

MaroMaro growled at the desert fox, which looked a lot like his mortal enemy, the cat.

SiroSiro rolled her eyes at the dog, growling back. “Anyway, Earth is 12291990 times bigger than my land, so good luck on conquering Earth. You’ll never.”

“Hm…” PiroPiro thought about it for a while. “This is your land, which means you conquered part of the Earth already! Come join me! We’ll conquer Earth together!”

“싫어!” SiroSiro instantly stuck out her tongue. “I don’t want to join you!”

“But you only have such a small land! I’ll help you get more land, while you teach me how to get more land!” PiroPiro beamed. “Hey, the whole Tired Planet is under my control, so I’m definitely capable of getting Earth. Join me or regret!”

“…” SiroSiro shook her head. “싫어!”

“You!” PiroPiro placed both MaroMaro and his bed on SiroSiro’s land, placing their belonging around their beds and then calling MaroMaro over. “Let’s go to bed.”

“This is my land!” SiroSiro yelled, poking PiroPiro’s eyes. “Get away from it!”

PiroPiro groaned softly at the pain, rubbing his eyes. “Why did you poke me?!”

SiroSiro kept quiet, blinking. She then smirked, advancing towards PiroPiro dangerously. Baring her teeth and then sinking them into PiroPiro’s arms, she waited for him to scream like a girl.

“AHHHHHH!” PiroPiro pouted sadly, sniffing. “Why did you bite me?!”

MaroMaro got ready to attack SiroSiro. How dare she bully his owner!

“Hehe! You’re so fun to be with!” SiroSiro grinned. “Okay, I’ll join you to conquer Earth.”

“Really?” PiroPiro’s eyes brightened. “Okay, that means we can sleep here! MaroMaro, let’s go back to bed.”

SiroSiro shrugged, deciding to tell her family about her new mission and her two new friends. In case they eat up these meaty invaders.

-

MaroMaro was actually Choco. And it was true. Choco and Kevin never really had a good relationship at first. Choco was the sort of dog that could tell good and bad people apart-

Nah, Kibum’s joking.

Choco was never let near Kevin as a joke by Kibum. Saying Kevin was horrible and dirty, and if he touched the young Choco, she will fall sick and die.

Kevin, being stupid (a little innocent and naïve, but mainly stupid), believed.

-

“Wake up! Wake up!” SiroSiro poked PiroPiro’s eyes that were hidden behind his eyelids. “Wake up!”

“I want to sleep…”PiroPiro yawned, switching his position only to sleep more comfortably instead of actually getting up.

“You said you were going to conquer Earth!” SiroSiro frowned, pulling PiroPiro up from his sleeping position. “Hey!”

“We’ll do it tomorrow, let’s get more rest.” PiroPiro grinned widely, pleased with his suggestion.

“SiroSiro!” The voice of another female fox could be heard. PiroPiro curiously peeked open an eye and saw a larger but essentially similar looking fox walking closer towards the three of them. “Wah, what’s up with your friends, SiroSiro? I feel really tired now…”

SiroSiro looked curiously at the “sleeping” PiroPiro, and back at her mother. “I don’t know, are you sick?”

SiroSiro’s mother stared back, as in contemplating something. “I found breakfast, get your friends to join us?”

“Yeah, I’ll do just that.” SiroSiro smiled back angelically, before snarling at PiroPiro. “Hey! Wake up!”

“Mm…” PiroPiro hummed a reply, obviously uninterested in waking up. He rolled around for a while, as SiroSiro watched in hopes that he sat up, before stopping at the comfortable position and returning back to PiroLand.

“…” SiroSiro climbed up to PiroPiro’s head and scratched ruthlessly. When PiroPiro finally got up, face scratched thoroughly by the cruel fox, he woke MaroMaro up too and pouted at SiroSiro.

“What do you want?” PiroPiro tried to fight the yawn, only to breathe out his bad breath. “Tired…”

“I want you to go eat breakfast, then we’ll play!” SiroSiro groaned at the bad breath that made its way to her sensitive nose. “Ew. Anyway, we’ll play catch after breakfast. You run, I catch.”

“No! You run, I catch.” PiroPiro grinned widely, which made SiroSiro scratched his head some more.

“Defy me and you don’t get breakfast!” SiroSiro threatened, easily forgetting PiroPiro’s plans to conquer Earth.

“Oh, what does MaroMaro do then?” PiroPiro looked at the adorable dog wagging his tail, looking up expectantly at his owner. He never liked SiroSiro, so he will never look at her.

SiroSiro looked at MaroMaro in disgust, rolling her eyes. “I don’t know, roll over and play dead or something.”

-

Kibum admits over-exaggerating Kevin’s hate for Choco. Because if Kevin dared hate Choco, Kibum would murder him.

There was also something about Kevin that sets him apart from the other members, he noticed.

Kevin had an active energy in him, that is unfazed by Kibum. Every other member could fall to the floor in tiredness and fall asleep, and Kevin would be there to wake him up and says he cannot sleep.

“Then what do you want me to do?!” Kibum groaned, an arm over Kevin’s chest and pressing his body down to the floor. “Just sleep.”

Kevin pouted, turning his body around and shifting his legs such that Kibum’s body was sort of between his thin thighs. Arms circling around Kibum’s waist, the older was plainly thankful for Kevin finally trying to sleep.

Even if he was fidgeting all night.

-

SiroSiro led the way to her family’s usual gathering place. As each member has their own piece of land in the desert, it takes quite a while to make a detour and meet on the shared land.

“I’m tired…” SiroSiro’s bigger sister cried, dark circles suddenly forming on her beautiful fox face. “I might go back to sleep…”

“You just-” SiroSiro’s father was about to reprimand his oldest daughter when he, too, yawned. “-woke up…Why do I feel so tired suddenly?”

MaroMaro barked to attract attention, before nuzzling his nose against PiroPiro’s side. PiroPiro cocked his head to a side quizzically, ruffling MaroMaro’s fur lovingly but not understanding why he barked. “MaroMaro, what’s up?”

“Woof! Woof! Woof!” MaroMaro replied in a language foreign to the foxes.

“Shut up, you dog.” SiroSiro scrunched up her nose, disliking MaroMaro a lot, for a reason unknown to everyone.

“Shh, he’s telling me something important!” PiroPiro exclaimed, kneeling down to hear his dog better. “Continue!”

MaroMaro smiled victoriously at SiroSiro, who growled angrily back. He then continued barking what he wanted to tell PiroPiro.

PiroPiro has the ability to spread a certain Piro Virus. This virus feeds on laziness, which means the lazier PiroPiro is, the longer the virus will last. It spreads extreme fatigue and causes dark eye circles to appear on its victim, and the dark eye circles will usually stay on the victim after he or she has been affected. For years, PiroPiro only affected MaroMaro, therefore the strength of the Virus is proportionally low. However, after affecting the whole of SiroSiro’s family (except SiroSiro), Piro Virus got slightly stronger!

“Really?” PiroPiro looked at MaroMaro, surprised. “I never knew that.”

“Hey, can you at least tell us what’s happening?” SiroSiro sulked, playing with a dead salmon fish that had been stored away for about 2 weeks. Since they were in a desert, food doesn’t come by easily, therefore they usually go on a hunting trip and store food away for about a month or so. The fish in his hand was about to rot, thus needed to be eaten as soon as possible. “We’re not invisible, you know?”

“MaroMaro was telling me about my ability to spread Piro Virus. It makes everyone tired.” PiroPiro proudly stated, feeling superior because of his “power”.

“Everyone?” SiroSiro repeated defiantly. “Well, I’m not tired.”

“Woof!” MaroMaro cut in.

“He says, it’s because you’re weird.” PiroPiro chuckled, ruffling MaroMaro’s hair. “Good going, boy!”

“…”

“Okay, kids.” SiroSiro’s mother smiled, stopping SiroSiro from opening her mouth to speak. “Let’s eat breakfast first.”

PiroPiro looked in disgust as a plate of fish was placed in front of him. SiroSiro ate her share happily, kicking PiroPiro’s leg while chewing on her food. PiroPiro whimpered, unable to take his revenge in the presence of SiroSiro’s family.

MaroMaro noted his owner’s discomfort and bared his teeth at SiroSiro, but the fox paid him no attention and only grinned wider.

“You’re especially happy today.” SiroSiro’s father smiled, picking out more fish for his daughter. “What about your friend? Why isn’t he eating?”

“Err…” PiroPiro embarrassedly tried to think of an excuse, to no avail. “I…don’t actually eat fish.”

“Oh! Then I’ll eat it!” SiroSiro quickly took over the plate and finished it off before her sister could say she wanted some.

“You pig!” The eldest daughter sulked, stealing some fish from SiroSiro’s original share instead. “Humpfh!”

“I’m a fox!” SiroSiro giggled, continuing swinging her legs so that they kicked PiroPiro. “Lalala~!”

“…” PiroPiro stood up, both legs abused cruelly enough. “I’m going back to sleep!”

“But you haven’t had breakfast!” SiroSiro’s mother exclaimed. “Why don’t you wait for a while, I’ll go find a prey.”

“No, it’s okay.” PiroPiro replied politely, watching SiroSiro snicker at the corner of his eyes. “I’m constantly tired you see. These dark circles below my eyes…”

“You do look very tired…” SiroSiro’s father agreed. “Honey, just let him do what he wants. You can sleep anywhere, this is our territory.”

PiroPiro nodded, slightly awed by the clear territorial boundaries.

SiroSiro pouted, wanting to kick PiroPiro a little more.

-

If Kibum needed to count, then his ten fingers alone are not enough to count the number of times he disappointed Kevin.

Kevin would bug him to go buy ice-cream with him and he’ll lay dead on the floor.

Kevin would drag him to the toilet because there might be a perverted stalker and he would hand Kevin some other member.

Kevin would want to eat lunch with him when they were both free of schedules and he tells the younger boy he’d stay at home waiting for him instead.

Kevin would sometimes shrug them off as Kibum being Kibum, and sometimes be awfully sarcastic with him, being all sassy-like.

Kibum thinks Kevin is such a girl, and he secretly likes that Kevin is such a girl for only him.

-

“So, shall we leave now?” SiroSiro grinned widely, climbing onto PiroPiro’s head, much to the annoyance of MaroMaro.

It was like the battle for attention between the two “mortal enemies”.

Except that PiroPiro’s attention span was long gone. He had a tiny bit of interests towards Earth on the first day he arrived, but after two days, he wakes up every day to be tired of being awake.

“Hey!” SiroSiro pouted. “If you aren’t going to conquer Earth, then play with me~!”

PiroPiro stared dazedly at the cactus nearby.

“난 널 싫어!” SiroSiro growled, scratching PiroPiro’s forehead. “PLAY WITH ME!”

“I’m tired.” PiroPiro replied with his best sad face.

“You’re always tired!” SiroSiro yelled, poking PiroPiro’s eyes. “Play. With. Me!”

“I’m really tired…” PiroPiro tried again.

“That’s what you always say!” SiroSiro decided to sink her sharp teeth into PiroPiro’s head instead, grinning when PiroPiro cried out in pain. “Come, I’ll teach you to play my favourite game!”

MaroMaro sharpened his nails and was about to pounce on this insolent cat!

“I’m not a cat, you dog!” SiroSiro growled, insulted.

MaroMaro blinked, clearly remembering not thinking aloud. Whatever, this insolent fox! “Woof! Woof!”

“I’m so scared~!” SiroSiro stuck out her tongue, yet her eyes became slightly frightened when MaroMaro dangerously advanced towards her.

“하지마로, MaroMaro.” PiroPiro called out, beckoning the dog towards him instead.

SiroSiro secretly smiled, happy that PiroPiro was trying to protect her while lecturing the stupid dog.

Instead, PiroPiro laid against MaroMaro’s body and fell asleep.

“…”

-

Kibum sometimes sigh when Kevin’s over in his house, the two of them playing with Choco and just lounging around, wasting the day away.

“What if one day, Choco is mature enough to find herself a mate?” Kibum would say, fondly caressing his dog. “Dogs have feelings too, and Choco is such an affectionate girl. I think she would like her mate better than me.”

Kevin scratched his head, hand raised to pat Kibum’s head, unsure of what to do whenever Kibum turns emotional.

“I’m not a dog.” Kibum stared at Kevin, and the younger smiled, as if an idea struck him.

“I’ll stay with you!” Kevin exclaimed, the widest smile Kibum ever saw him wear. “When Choco finds someone like herself, I’ll stay with you!”

-

“Are you ever going to conquer Earth?” SiroSiro rolled her eyes, jumping on PiroPiro’s bouncy stomach.

“Life is comfortable here, I don’t want to.” PiroPiro grinned cheekily, rolling over so SiroSiro doesn’t abuse his stomach too much. “Besides, my virus attacked your relatives, I’m sure it’ll grow more powerful and everyone will be infected!”

SiroSiro growled, biting PiroPiro’s head. “You bullied my family!”

“I didn’t!” PiroPiro mewled softly, trying to ease the pain by rubbing it. Except that his hands were a little on the short side. “MaroMaro, please rub my head~!”

MaroMaro barked gently and did as he was told, before jumping onto PiroPiro to fight with SiroSiro.

“Ah, why am I the floor to the both of you?” PiroPiro pouted, making a crying face as he did.

A pretty dog walked by the desert, fur coffee brown in colour, curly and combed. The dog’s eyes were pretty, and when she turned around and spotted MaroMaro, a tint of red stained her cheeks.

“Hey, that dog likes you.” SiroSiro said, in a slightly rude tone that made MaroMaro grit his teeth at her. SiroSiro shrugged, pointing at the dog that was still stealing glances at MaroMaro.

MaroMaro instantly forget about SiroSiro, jumping off PiroPiro and stood straight, tail wagging to show his strong passion. “Woof! Woof!”

“Love at first sight.” PiroPiro muttered, mildly happy that one of the two burdens on his back was gone. “I think MaroMaro is going to leave me…”

SiroSiro turned to look at PiroPiro, blinking curiously, before giving a wide Cheshire-like grin. “Oh, I’ll stay with you~!”

“Oh no.” PiroPiro groaned.

-

“I’m tired of being with you.” Kibum yawned. “Why won’t you ever bother someone else?”

Of course it was all harmless words, maybe just a joke to make Kevin talk to someone else once in a while too. Yet Kibum forgot that Kevin was like a girl, taking every word seriously and taking them to offense.

The younger gave him the roughest push ever to the floor, running away with a rub of his eyes.

Kibum sighed, it was heartbreaking to see the younger boy this way.

-

Choco was the name of the dog that attracted MaroMaro, who was now staying with them because MaroMaro begged PiroPiro, who in turned had to play whatever SiroSiro wanted for five hours before the fox relented.

“It’s so tiring playing with you.” PiroPiro lamented, instantly lying down and shifting to a comfortable position to sleep.

“…” SiroSiro frowned, blinking her tears away.

If she were to count the days, then there would be forty two days. Forty two days since PiroPiro crashed into her land and stayed with her. There was MaroMaro too, but that dog was not in her area of concern.

Yes, they were still enemies.

In those forty two days, PiroPiro never played with SiroSiro. SiroSiro wondered why she put up with such a lazy bum, and the answer was in her heart, loud and clear. The answer was that she wasn’t really putting up with PiroPiro.

“I hate you! I hate you!” SiroSiro cried, leaping away. “Forty two days and you played with me only once, and now you’re complaining! 싫어! 싫어! 난 널 싫어어어어어!”

PiroPiro wanted to give chase.

But he was too tired.

-

Choco eventually found the neighbour’s dog to play with and probably later mate with.

Kevin seemed to have forgotten he said that he’d stay with Kibum if that happens. Or he was probably still angry.

-

“ChocoBeam!” Choco said prettily, the only thing she can say other than her usual bark. Her eyes would turn red and the laser will attract whoever she was looking at for that moment.

MaroMaro refused to let Choco use it on anyone else but him. “Woof! Woof!”

“Woof~!” Choco beamed back.

SiroSiro cursed them both for their loving atmosphere under her breath, still angry at PiroPiro. That jerk, he was sleeping when SiroSiro came back. He probably doesn’t even care…

To think SiroSiro fell in love with such an idiot!

She thought he was cute, really nice and cuddly. Warm in the cold nights, a shield from the burning sun in the hot mornings. And that PiroPiro let her bully him however she wanted, which might have meant PiroPiro liked her too!

Yet PiroPiro didn’t even apologise the next day he woke up, only continuing to sleep since SiroSiro didn’t bother him anymore.

With a comfortable place to sleep every day, and SiroSiro’s family who are constantly out on a hunt for food (SiroSiro refuses to join them, disliking to go out of her comfort zone to hunt), PiroPiro’s stomach is constantly filled and his naps are constantly carried out.

“Man, life could go on like this forever.” PiroPiro mumbled contentedly, all thoughts about conquering Earth forgotten long ago.

“Not if I throw you out…” SiroSiro stuck out a tongue, sighing.

-

Kibum never thought Kevin would confess. He thought they could stay this way forever.

But he did, to the fascination and awe of Kibum, Kevin did.

-

“This is a flower! You give it to the girl you like!” SiroSiro screamed into PiroPiro’s ears, holding a cactus’ flower. “That is how you get yourself a girlfriend!”

“Too cumbersome.” PiroPiro shook his head, turning his head so his ears were covered as he tried to sleep. “I’ll just wait for someone to like me.”

“…” SiroSiro bit her lower lip, before deciding to vent her anger on PiroPiro instead. “I HATE YOU!”

“I know, you said it many times.” PiroPiro yawned, smiling at SiroSiro. “Anything new?”

At that moment, SiroSiro wondered if her “dislike” for PiroPiro melted away. Somehow, the most irritating bear on Earth could send a current through her heart and make her feel alive again. That cursed smile of his, so easily winning her over.

“I love you…” SiroSiro confessed, hanging her head low. She wasn’t very hopeful, knowing PiroPiro’s attitude, but at least she could hope. If PiroPiro rejected her, then off he goes, out of her land.

PiroPiro blinked.

SiroSiro blushed, unsure of what the silence meant. PiroPiro then reached out for the cactus’ flower, examining it before hooking it around SiroSiro’s ear.

“This is a flower, and I gave it to the girl I like.” PiroPiro smiled, voice deep and serious.

SiroSiro squealed, climbing up onto PiroPiro’s head (since he was on the floor) and clinging onto his head.

PiroPiro laughed, shaking his head. “Hm…get off me~!”

“싫어!” SiroSiro giggled.

-

And they-

-

It has been a year since PiroPiro’s ambition to conquer the Earth disappeared, also a year since he arrived on Earth and met SiroSiro.

The two are the perfect combination, with the same dislike to do anything. SiroSiro got influenced and decided to laze around on PiroPiro’s head because it was comfortable that way, while PiroPiro was encouraged by his lover to mope around more.

Both refusing to lift a finger to even eat.

SiroSiro’s permanent position is thus on PiroPiro’s head, and since the desert is getting warmer, they asked MaroMaro and Choco to get them an electric fan. The two dogs were on their honeymoon, and since they were indebted to PiroPiro and SiroSiro in one way or another, they did as they were told and sent the electric fan to the desert.

Oh, there was a free bolster that came with the electric fan, and that became their makeshift home.

And they lived happily ever after.
-

-yeah, lived pretty happily ever after.

-

I don’t know if anyone noticed, but P.S. I love you! (title) is basically there because PiroPiro starts with a “P” and SiroSiro starts with a “S”. How creative. /bricked
I’m also sorry if the human Kemaru parts seemed a bit forced. It was supposed to come out more naturally, if I wrote them while writing PiroPiro and SiroSiro’s story, but I only wrote PiroPiro and SiroSiro’s story first. Human Kemaru is added like a month later, so I forgot what I was meant to write .__.
If you haven’t seen the author’s note on top, yes, I gave this to Kibum the other time, May 20th, not on holiday haha, without the human Kemaru parts ^^~
