35 U-Kiss Fic Challenge Prompt: 16. Cracked Open Ribs [Kevin/Kiseop]
Warnings: Awful!English, Awful!Horror
Author's Notes: This is the work of a pure sadist. I understand that the prompt said Kevin and Kiseop pairing, and what you read might have nothing to do with love or friendship. But Kevin and Kiseop are the main characters, and as far as I’m concerned, that makes them a pairing lol. Sorry, I couldn’t write anything else for a prompt like this.

“We’ll play tag!” Alexander suggested, feeling bored once more. The group of them usually had nothing to do after their gardening chores, and Alexander didn’t like having tea like they always do. “I’ll be the catcher!”

“I’m not playing.” Kevin pouted, shaking his head. “I’ll probably get lost somewhere again. And you guys will leave me to get some desserts.”

“We won’t.” Kibum smiled gently, ruffling Kevin’s hair. “Come on, play tag with us.”

Kevin blushed slightly, looking away with a small nod. “Okay.”

Eli and Soohyun cheered loudly, running away the fastest on the fluffy clouds to each get a hiding place. Dongho decided it was time to try his growing wings, and thus ran a bit before flapping his wings.

“I CAN FLY!” Dongho grinned, flying to his usual hiding place.

“Come on, let’s be quick.” Kibum whispered, as Alexander started counting to hundred.

“Mm.” Kevin smiled nervously, following the older angel’s lead.

-

Kiseop looked curiously at the slightly glowing teen on the floor. Most city dwellers rushing for work just passed the unconscious body without a thought, but Kiseop knew that glow.

It was an angel’s glow.

He smirked.

-

Kevin stirred slightly, yawning softly as he rubbed his eyes open, only to realise his hands were bound above his head, and he was laying straight on maybe a table or something. He frowned, looking around himself suspiciously.

It was insanely dark.

Night time in heaven was never dark.

“Maybe it’s a joke.” Kevin softly mumbled to himself, trying to soothe his nerves. He blindly tried to reach whatever was binding his two hands together, but no matter how he twisted the thing, it wouldn’t give way.

“Maybe it’s not.” A soft whisper right next to his ear, causing goosebumps to form almost instantaneously.

Kevin screamed.

“Wh-who are you?” Kevin asked frightfully, turning his head only to see pink, thin lips. They were so close to him, and when he blinked, he felt moistness on his forehead. Did this man just kiss him? “D-Don’t do that, please!”

The man snapped his fingers, and a candle lit up at the sound.

Kevin stared at the candle and knew only one species of people who could do that. “You’re….you’re a demon!”

“Exactly, little angel.” The predator smiled dangerously, turning Kevin’s head so he could see exactly what he looked like. “I’m Kiseop, the demon that loves angels.”

Kevin’s pupils dilated despite the introduction of light, face scrunching up in disgust. The things he sees instead of Kiseop’s flawless face are his red horns and canine teeth, and that could only signify a matured demon. The definition of love he grew up with had nothing to do with a demon like the man before him. “You do not love angels!”

Kiseop laughed, but it was the hearty, frightening kind. “I do, I love angels, and their fear when they see me hold a knife.”

As if proving his point, he brought out a butter knife.

Kevin sighed in relief, releasing the breath he didn’t know he held.

“Not so scared of a butter knife?” Kiseop smiled, reaching for something. Kevin was then shifted to sitting position in the meantime, and his hands were still above his head, probably tied to the headrest. There was then a “click” sound, and suddenly, a screen appeared before his eyes. “Look at this little movie I prepared for you.”

There was blood, a lot of it. Limbs, detached from the body, and a head.

Kevin screamed, shutting his eyes tightly. “I don’t want! I don’t want!”

“Watch.” Kiseop whispered, holding onto Kevin’s eyelids and forcing him to watch on. “I SAID WATCH!”

Kevin whimpered in fear, obediently watching the eyeballs being gorged out of the woman’s head. There were a lot of painful screams, and a-a butter knife. A naked body stabbed with the seemingly harmless butter knife, and there was a saw. Then there were pins, and darts, and a gun!

A bathtub of blood, a finger being chopped off from the hand. Hair, cut opened head, broken skeleton.

Kevin cried, screaming louder than the movie itself. “Please! Please stop it!”

“Don’t worry.” Kiseop said quietly, stopping the show with another click. The screen turned dark, and it was almost as if it was never there. Unknowingly, the chair had returned to being a straight bed. “You won’t die.”

Kevin sniffed, not sure what that just meant.

“Angels can’t die.” Kiseop kindly explained, moving to get a butcher knife, a saw, everything else, and Kevin realised they were all around him on the floor. “But of course, it doesn’t mean I wouldn’t put you through them all.”

“W-Why?!” Kevin’s voice cracked, and the tears he had wouldn’t stop flowing.

“You’ll still look this pretty, I’m sure.” Kiseop smiled, using a blade to scratch Kevin’s face. The angel flinched, but in a few seconds, the wound was gone. “I tried cutting off your hand while you were asleep. It returned to your body. You’re not like the human in that video.”

Kevin shook his head, pressing his body closer to the chair as if it could protect him. “No, no!”

“You have no choice, baby, I love angels.” Kiseop laughed lightly, looking at all the tools he had. “Which one do you want first?”

“I don’t want!” Kevin cried harder, shaking his head helplessly.

“Ah, that must mean you want some electricity.” Kiseop laughed sadistically, connecting a wire to where he thought Kevin’s veins were at. Turning on the current supply, he smiled when Kevin froze.

Then there was a high-pitched scream, so heart-breaking and excruciating that Kiseop smiled wider.

“Having fun?”

Kevin gasped, not even having time to breathe when another scream slip his lips, tears falling uncontrollably due to the current triggering his tear glands. He arched his back unconsciously as the electricity coursed through his arteries to his veins, eyes widening to their maximum as he stared lifelessly at the ceiling. There were also visible blood vessels appearing around his eyes, with at least five threatening to burst.

As the current continuously flowed, two of the blood vessels burst, clouding Kevin’s vision. He screeched, the torture killing him literally. He couldn’t beg, he couldn’t even beg the demon before him to stop because there was no way the numbing electricity would let him form a coherent sentence. Only his screams kept coming - loud and clear. His muscles tensed, the jolts of electricity causing involuntary spastic contractions, before the screams died down all of a sudden.

Kiseop was enjoying the melodious scream when it came to an abrupt end, causing his eyes to flutter open. Noticing the limp body no longer reacting to the agonizing electric current, he switched it off and directed the current away with a wire. There was a spark, even, as the wire came in contact to Kevin’s electrocuted body.

Kevin’s body was thoroughly burned with the current, and there were some ugly, red streaks showing where the current had ran through under the angel’s skin, but they were slowly clearing up.

The angel groaned in pain as he slowly opened his eyes, the remnants of electricity still sparking his insides.

“How was the ride to hell?” Kiseop asked softly, and Kevin instantly bawled.

“Let me go, please!” Kevin cried, fighting the tight thing that bound his hands to the top of his head with more force now that he knew what would happen if he didn’t. “Let me go!”

“The game just started.” Kiseop said with innocent eyes. “How could I let you go without some more fun?”

And so the butcher knife came into sight.

Kevin literally fainted.

“It’s okay. You’ll wake up to this.” Kiseop smirked as he whispered gently into Kevin’s ears. Raising the butcher knife above his head, he aimed for the ribs, and brought his arm down with the help of gravity.

Kevin yelled, feeling the acute blade cut through his angel clothes made of white satin, before going deeper and tearing his skin apart. The impact of the fall caused two of his ribs to break, and before the wound could heal, Kiseop held up a hammer emotionlessly.

“I want to hear your scream, louder, sharper.” Kiseop said, squeezing Kevin’s heart with his bare hand, the other readying itself to hammer down.

The angel cried feebly, before a heart-breaking cry took over as the hammer attacked his ribcage, forming a dent. With more force, to hear Kevin scream, he hammered the ribs and made them fall into a mess. Kevin tried kicking his legs in a futile attempt to struggle, but his legs were aiming at nothing but air. He kicked harder, but the pain he attempted to transfer somewhere else stayed within his small body.

“Louder!” Kiseop commanded, holding up a drill screwdriver. He roughly pushed the organs within the angel away, drilling holes into the heart. When the process was too slow for his liking, when the screams weren’t as agonizing as he wanted them to be, he brought out a penknife and cruelly stabbed the abused heart.

The sounds of blood squirting out, oh, the ecstasy.

A piercing shriek resounded in the underground room, along with the exhausted gasps of air, and Kevin’s hazy, unfocused eyes. Once again, Kiseop only stopped when Kevin couldn’t let out even a whimper.

He watched in fascination as the holes in the heart miraculously patched up once more, and how they clenched for every pump of the blood. The insides were rearranged, and the broken ribs were crawling their way back to where they belonged. The milky, white skin stuck to each other as if there wasn’t a hole before, and the only thing that remained ruined, blood-stained, was Kevin’s clothes.

Only then did Kiseop remembered clearly. The man before him was an angel.

He turned Kevin’s body around, and moved the strong chains binding Kevin’s wrists so the angel could properly lay with his stomach flat. Kiseop waited patiently, deciding this was the best night he had since forever. The screams he heard could be heard over and over again, unlike when he did it with a human, because a human would die soon enough. There wasn’t any fun he found cutting them apart when they’re already dead, but now with an angel, Kiseop couldn’t thank his luck enough.

He undressed the angel upper body as Kevin laid unconscious, and admired the beauty of those feathered wings. They were so white, so soft, probably meaning that Kevin was careful with his use of the precious wings. Even better.

Kevin learned to be smarter this time. He held in the pain, even if it stung, and didn’t utter a word as he woke up. As long as Kiseop didn’t realise he was awake, he wouldn’t have to go through hell once more.

But Kiseop’s patience wore off. He plucked a feather off the angel’s left wing and smirked when he heard a hiss.

“Awake, huh?”

Kevin cursed himself for being so bad at handling pain, but his thoughts were jumbled up when Kiseop winded his long fingers into Kevin’s wings. His grip slowly tightened, and the demon then jerked his hand back, pulling out a bunch of feathers.

“Ah!” Kevin yelped, shaking his head furiously. “Not-not my wings!”

“Of course, of course it’s your wings.” Kiseop smiled with a bright glint in his eyes. He grab another handful of feathers and tugged them harshly, before letting them fall to the floor freely.

“Nooooo!” Kevin wailed, for an angel’s wings are an angel’s prized possession. He felt the aching spots on his wings that indicated where there were no more feathers, crying sadly. “My wings!”

Slowing the speed with a grin, he plucked each feather purposefully and felt Kevin flinched at every pull. There was a soft sniffle, and Kiseop decided it wasn’t fun enough.

“It’s not even the main show yet, and you’re crying already?” The demon cackled evilly. He quickly plucked out the rest of the feathers and left Kevin’s wings bald in a few minutes, despite the desperate pleas. Lowering himself, he brought the exact tool he wanted and held it within his arms dangerously.

“No!” Kevin screeched, hearing the mechanical whirring of the saw coming closer. “NO!”

Cutting away parts of the wings part by part, Kiseop found joy in watching the blood taint those naturally white wings. The blood gushed out due to the lack of something to contain it, then dripping onto the floor and causing a pool of redness. What was once a pair of beautiful wings, is now a mess of whatever it looked like. Blood, broken wings, feathers. The corners of his lips were stretched wider, hearing the cries of anguish, the noises of suffering.

So sweet.

Reaching the roots of the wings, he sawed one off and heard a bone-chilling shrill. Smirking, and thanking whoever the genius is for creating a pair of wings, he sawed off the other one and heard the same, satisfying shrill.

“You seem to be more used to the pain.” Kiseop smiled, pressing a wet, sloppy kiss on Kevin’s lips. Kevin bit his lips forcefully, hoping to get the distasteful feeling away from his lips - the ones he told himself to never let anyone else kiss other than the love of his life. “That’s bad, because I’m starting to love your screams too much.”

Kevin rolled his eyes in anger, accidentally biting his lips too hard and causing them to bleed. He winced, but kept a straight expression when Kiseop grabbed his hair and pulled him up. Kiseop stared into Kevin’s hateful eyes and laughed humourlessly.

“So, an angel can get angry too?” Kiseop mocked, caressing Kevin’s cheek before turning the angel’s shirtless body around once more. With another metal chain, Kiseop tied Kevin’s feet to the opened door that was Kevin’s only chance of escape.

If he could escape.

The demon then gave the wooden door a powerful kick, slamming the door shut, eliciting a long terrified shriek filled with anguish from the tormented angel. There were sounds of bones cracking, and Kevin looked horrible with his dislocated limbs, the ends of the bones protruding and causing it to be a repulsive sight. He lethargically gave one last cry, before falling back into unconsciousness.

“You look beautiful.” Kiseop’s eyes lit up in delight, watching curiously as the skin stretched to make sure Kevin wasn’t really torn apart. The bones were trying to relocate themselves, tugging on the tight chains around Kevin’s wrists and his feet. The wings that were sawed off before disintegrated, magically regrouping on Kevin’s back, and the white, feathery wings on Kevin now looked as good as new.

Kiseop moved to open the door and take the chain off the door so he could see those bones relocate themselves at the joints. When they were back in position, Kevin regained consciousness once more.

“Give me your best shot.” Kevin groaned. “I don’t even care. We’ll see who gets worn out first.”

Kiseop frowned. He knew what that meant. It meant Kevin wouldn’t give the ear-piercing screams he wanted him to.

Time to change tactics.

He looked around at what he had, before walking silently out of the room in search of more torturous weapons probably. Without wasting too much time, he found a whip, more candles, and even knuckle dusters.

Kevin braced himself for the next blow. The demon, Kevin figured out, was one that fed on fear. The more he screams, the more he cowers away, the stronger Kiseop will plan his next attack. Judging from the torture he had went through, the next blow would probably be his face.

And he was right, for Kiseop wore the knuckle dusters and smiled at it appreciatively.

Kevin shut his eyes, anticipating the blow and reminding himself to not scream. Even if it did hurt, the most he could do was shout, in rage. Kiseop aimed carefully at Kevin’s beautiful face, giving it a trail punch before landing his fist on the angel’s face. The cheekbones sunk in, and yet the only sound he heard was a hiss.

“Scream.” Kiseop ordered, clenching his teeth. “Scream!”

“I’m not going to.”

Kiseop angrily aimed another hit at Kevin’s head, causing a dent in the skull. Kevin clenched his fist to force the pain away, letting hot tears fall from his eyes as Kiseop furiously threw more punches at Kevin’s face. The best he heard was a whimper, but even that wasn’t enough. He travelled lower, aiming at Kevin’s stomach but only causing the angel let out a strangled cry.

That’s it. That’s exactly it.

Kiseop took off his knuckle dusters and grabbed Kevin’s throat tightly. Scratching the tender skin while digging his fingernails into Kevin’s throat, he waited, and waited, for the scream to come. Kevin coughed violently, desperate for oxygen to fill his lungs once more, but only coughing.

“Fuck!” Kiseop yelled in frustration, kicking whatever he could to vent it.

And then a smirk.

“Why am I such a genius?” Kiseop smiled, stripping his lower body and stroking his member gently. Kevin flinched at the thought of whatever he was going to be put through, realising Kiseop changed his position once more such that he was kneeling on the floor, hands still chained above his head.

“Suck.” Kiseop said, humiliating Kevin by slapping his length against Kevin’s cheek. “Or I’ll make sure you go through more than what you went through earlier.”

“I won’t.” Kevin spat, energy draining off of him. “Even if you kill me, I won’t submit.”

“Tough kitten?” Kiseop laughed, squatting down and glaring into Kevin’s eyes. “Then, let’s play.”

Shoving his erection into Kevin’s mouth, he thrusted further in, feeling the head of his erection touch the back of Kevin’s throat. Kevin gagged, but quickly bit down as hard as he could just so he felt in control. For the past hours, he had been through electrocution, excruciating pain, everything really, and the bite made him feel, even if it was just a little, relieved. Because Kiseop cursed in pain, kicking him away and cupped his manhood like his life depended on it.

Kevin laughed softly, consciousness drifting out of him.

“You think it’s funny?” Kiseop sent a slap across Kevin’s face.

Not that it hurts, because now, nothing much hurts anymore.

Kiseop growled, infuriated. He dragged Kevin’s pants down, placing him on the bed so it would be easier for him to whip this angel properly. Hand blindly groping for the leather whip, he smiled cynically as he whipped nothing in particular, hearing it slice the still air. Advancing towards Kevin’s naked form, he whipped continuously, letting the painful lashes mix with Kevin’s cry. Because the angel could no longer hold in his pain, because he repeatedly left red strokes on the same spot just so it stung harder.

The demon grinned, having heard what he wanted to hear. Those screams that soothed his sadistic desires, if only he could hear them resound with more dread, more panic, more uneasiness of what was going to come.

Snapping his fingers a few more time he lit up some candles and held them horizontally above Kevin’s body. He then increased the intensity of the fire so the wax could melt faster, dripping onto the strokes that were trying their best to heal. Kevin sealed his lips, shutting his eyes tightly and trying his best to form his cries into muffled whines.

Kiseop thus threw the candles away, watching the melted wax solidify once more on Kevin’s skin. It then detached itself from Kevin’s skin, falling off easily.

This was useless. More, Kiseop wanted more.

Without so much of a warning, he shoved his member into Kevin’s entrance. “Mm…Tight.”

Kevin screamed like the very first time, completely unprepared for such an attack. Tears welled up in his eyes as consciousness told his mind what he was going through. The walls of his entrance were stretched crazily by the rough thrust, tearing him apart from the inside. Without giving time, because Kiseop was a demon afterall, the predator started shifting himself all the way out and then slamming himself back in.

“Stop!” Kevin let out a shrill cry, face contorted in pain. “Stop!”

Kiseop pulled Kevin up, looking frantically into Kevin’s eyes and finally seeing fear. Oh, the saccharine taste of fear. His smile had glee literally written on it, and that gave him more reasons to thrust in.

Faster.

Deeper.

Harder.

The friction in him burned like wild fire, the pain easing away for pleasure to be felt, and the disgusting thing was that every time there was a strike at this specific spot, he wanted to let out a shameless moan.

“Kibummie-hyung…” Kevin called out weakly in an attempt to distract himself from the pain and pleasure.

“Oh, so you do have someone you love.”

Kevin ignored the demon, calling once more in hopes of his voice reaching heaven. “Kibummie-hyung…”

This was inhumane, what he was going through, it was inhumane. Kevin couldn’t even imagine why anyone would want to do it, why the demon thinks it was actually fun to see him cry in agony.

“Your Kibummie-hyung can’t hear you.” Kiseop mocked, evil smirk in place as an idea struck him. “But hey, what if he can? And what if, he hears you moan for me?”

Kevin ignored those words, knowing what they were trying to incite. Just this morning, he would have been proud to announce that he was untouched, and all ready to give up his all for Kibum, his ultimate love. He was certain the older man had some feelings for him too, and they were just waiting for the right moment so Kibum can confess and Kevin can accept. But his chances were ruined, or at least his secret wish for Kibum to claim Kevin’s body as his.

Kiseop reached for Kevin’s neglected member, and no matter how much the angel didn’t want it to, it grew harder with Kiseop’s touch. The demon smirked, pumping the erection at an erratically fast rhythm, seeing Kevin gasp breathlessly, biting his lower lip to control his mewls. The angel’s hips subtly buckled towards the contact, the warmth of Kiseop’s hand relieving the ache of being unable to come.

Resist, Kevin screamed at himself internally.

“You can’t hold it in.” Kiseop whispered. “You want this.”

“Ughh.” Kevin let out accidentally, and he instantly widened his eyes in disbelief. Pressing his lips together once more, he tried harder not to let out any sounds that would go against his actual feelings.

Kiseop rode out tentatively, wanting to do everything to make Kevin moan for him. He repositioned himself, attaching his lips to Kevin’s throbbing member and sucking.

Kevin took in a sharp intake of breath, arching his back at an inhumane angle. Digging his fingernails into his palms, he screamed out in frustration, but it was not the kind of sound Kiseop wanted to hear. Kiseop bobbed his head slowly, letting his tongue trail zigzag patterns on the length as he moved up and down. Kissing the head of the leaking erection and then making a trail of light kisses down the length, he felt the angel twitch in silent desire.

He attacked the head once more, knowing how Kevin flinched every time he did. So he sucked it, twirl his tongue around it, and kissed it. Kevin’s legs moved wildly, trying to get Kiseop away from his weakest point, but the demon calmly pressed them down. Strengthening his attacks with his hands sliding up Kevin’s form and circling the sensitive hard nubs, he pinched them carefully. Kevin bit down forcefully on his lower lip, abusing it to keep all sounds within himself. However, more cum leaked out from his hard erection, wetting all the way till his milky white thighs, and Kiseop could only smirk at how wet Kevin was becoming. He saw the pained expression on the angel, and was determined to make him scream.

Kiseop pulled out and ravished the other’s lips, before darting lower and aiming at the collarbone. Sucking and biting down at where he felt Kevin flinch, he could even feel Kevin’s erection rub against his own. Kevin glared angrily at the ceiling, concentrating his anger and distracting himself from the pleasure.

The demon knew better, returning to his ministrations at Kevin’s length. He licked the base of the member while holding both of Kevin’s legs tightly, restricting Kevin from trying to stop him. Kissing his way up once more, he heard a soft, uncontrollable whimper.

So a gentle blow of warm, moist air.

“Ughhh.” Kevin screamed incoherently, releasing himself at the trigger. The warm load fell messily over his own naked body, reminding himself of what a disgrace he was. He sobbed pathetically, cursing himself for being so useless at resisting.

“Don’t worry.” Kiseop smiled, licking the cum and spitting them on Kevin’s face. “He’ll forgive you for having so much fun with me.”

Kevin glared at the demon with teary eyes, groaning when Kiseop reached for his member and gave it a squeeze. Taking the chance to kiss Kevin, he prodded his tongue into Kevin’s mouth and tried to take away everything Kevin was keeping for the Kibum guy. Kevin frantically bit on Kiseop’s tongue, causing Kiseop to withdraw from what he had intended it to be - a fiery, passionate kiss.

This time, Kiseop didn’t mind as much as he thought he would. Probably because the reaction was out of, you guessed it, fear.

“Should I carve my name on you?” Kiseop whispered, pronouncing each syllables purposefully. “Show your Kibummie-hyung who got your body first.”

Kevin shuddered, but was too lazy to even refuse violently.

“When? When are you going to be done with me?!” Kevin hollered, crying softly. “I’m tired of all your games!”

“Not yet, but soon.” Kiseop smiled. “When I get everything I need out of you. An angel really does satisfy my hunger, huh?”

With a penknife, because that’s the best and fastest thing he can get, he carved out his name across Kevin’s chest. It wasn’t that pain, considering what Kevin went through. Even so, Kiseop didn’t stop mumbling, repeating how he had claimed Kevin’s body first, how this mark, even if it was going to disappear, was once across Kevin’s heart.

“Even if he doesn’t know our dirty little secret.” Kiseop smiled at his masterpiece, pressing a kiss at the end of his name to finish it. “You know, I know, we had sex. And you loved it, you moaned for more.”

Kevin screeched, knowing exactly what Kiseop’s agenda was but unable to cope with his feelings. Why, just why did he have to go through all these? Whatever did he do wrong?

Kevin felt so miserable, and there was nothing he could do about it.

The wounds closed up, and where Kiseop’s name was supposed to be no longer had the cursed name. Kiseop nodded as he pulled away, contented. Today was so much fun, and so satisfying. This amount of anxiety, dread, fright, could last him years.

“I’m done with you.” Kiseop said, pouring what he had prepared earlier over Kevin.

The angel frowned, realising the heavy smell was kerosene. Drenched in the flammable oil, there was not much that could happen to him. He let one last tear escape his eyes, preparing himself for just one final torture.

Kiseop held the lighter in his hands, lighting it up with utmost concentration.

“Any last words?” Kiseop asked, turning his gaze back on Kevin. “To me, I mean.”

“You suck.” Kevin spat. “I hope you burn in hell.”

Kiseop laughed loudly, clutching his stomach at how stupid Kevin’s words were. “Guess what? It’s you, angel, that’d burn in hell.”

With that, he threw the lighter onto the trail of oil, watching the fire make its way rapidly towards the naked form of the angel. Without so much of a goodbye, he left with a crooked smile.

And it hurt, it really did. It burned, of course it did. But all that didn’t make it any more bearable, as the flames dangerously licked Kevin’s fair skin, and the sky-high temperature burning every part of him. Even if he didn’t want to, he screamed at the top of his lungs, in hopes of it just taking away a bit of the pain. Tugging harshly, he tried breaking the chains only to realise it was a futile attempt once more.

The fire was awfully excruciating, and it bit his nerves, causing every part of him to instinctively inch away. Except that the kerosene stuck to his skin, and the fire followed him wherever he went. His hair burned into ashes, leaving his head less protected and the searing heat more able to harm him.

His skin slowly became scorched, and some parts of him were even peeling. Crying, because the whole thing was just unbearable, Kevin couldn’t even find it in him to become unconscious. The burning kept him awake, the smell of himself cooking over the strong fire, and he didn’t knew when this would end. Louder, stronger, he screeched and hoped anyone would save him from this endless torture.

It didn’t feel like it was going to end.

Because unlike humans, he can’t die.

-

“Kevin, Kevin!” Kibum grabbed onto him tightly, tear-stained face contorted in pain as Kevin woke up in a mess of screams. “Kevin!”

He could still feel every part of him in fire, every part within him torn, every nerve electrocuted, every beat of his heart accompanied by a stab.

Kevin screamed, and it was so terrible for the other angels to watch.

Even in their nightmares, they would never know what Kevin was put through.

“Kevin…” Kibum cried, hugging the younger angel tighter, just wishing that it would be the slightest comfort.

Kibum had found Kevin unconscious and scorched black in a basement of an abandoned warehouse on Earth, slowly recovering from the fire. The key to the lock was inserted in it already, and it only needed a turn for the chain to be unlocked. The five of them then quickly flew back up to heaven with Kevin for fear of humans seeing them, not noticing all the tools on the floor.

“Kevin….” Kibum called gently once more. “Are you in pain?”

So much pain, Kevin cried, unable to say a word. So much pain he would never understand.
