"Changminnie~!" Jaejoong sang, grinning from ear to ear as he entered Changmin's bedroom with a chef's hat smartly worn. "Follow me out, I have a surprise for you!"
Changmin stared deadpannedly at the oldest member (though Changmin really questions if Jaejoong's mental age was half of his own or not), before turning back to his work at hand and completely ignoring the resident chef.
"Minnie~!" Jaejoong tried again, dancing over to massage Changmin's back, anything to get him to move. "Listen to me~!"
"I'm not Yunho-hyung. You can go find your husband if you need help." Changmin replied quietly, and it was almost as if he hadn't spoke.
Which is why Jaejoong took two seconds to realise it was Changmin talking (and not his subconscious mind).
"He's not at home." Jaejoong pouted instantly, before shaking his head. "But that's not the point. Come on, I have a surprise for you. It'd be worth the trouble!"
"Everything anyone does has to be worth the trouble, except you." Changmin coldly replied, refusing to look at the pleading member. "You always do useless stuffs."
The oldest member sighed, walking out of Changmin's room sadly. Guess he would have to resort to plan B.
After a lot of noise and grumbling, Changmin was curious enough to look at his door, where the sound of porcelain meeting marbled floor drew his attention.
Food.
"So much for surprise." Another angry grumble.
Warily, just in case Jaejoong would run in again and glomp him or something, he took careful steps towards the door.
Ears alert for any footsteps, Changmin got closer and closer towards the dish of spicy chicken. The aroma was so tempting, but not tempting enough for him to let down his guard.
Jaejoong must be planning something.
Another step, before pausing for distant sounds. Yet another, and he could see the corridor leading to his room. There wasn't anyone.
Queer...
Bending down but with eagle-like eyes watching the corridor guardedly, Changmin's hands reached the plate without a certain member rushing to him. As if testing, Changmin picked the plate off a low height and quickly dropped it.
Unable to understand Jaejoong's behaviour, Changmin plainly decided to pick the plate up and take a quick bite of one of the spicy chicken drumstick.
It stung, but damn, it was nice.
Changmin was still insistent on his point. There's no way Jaejoong wouldn't gallop in.
Except he really didn't, while Changmin dumbly stood at the door. With embarrassment turning into mock anger, the youngest stomped out, in search of the eldest member.
"Hyung! Your cooking-"
"Was it nice?" Jaejoong's eyes twinkled at the plate Changmin was holding.
Changmin ignored Jaejoong's question in favour of the feast before his eyes. If this was the surprise planned, then Changmin decided he should demand for more of these food surprises.
A growing boy needs all the nutrients (and all the food) he can get, after all.
Watching the youngest hungrily eat everything with a satisfied smile on his face, Jaejoong went to get some cold milk and waited.
"It's spicy." Changmin frowned slightly, albeit not stopping in his eating. His lips turned red, and when Jaejoong offered him the cold milk, those lips curved into a smirk. "Planned all these?"
"Spicy food is good!" Jaejoong pouted af the implied meaning of Changmin's words, raising his point in his defence.
Shrugging, along with an appetite of a monster, Changmin soon ended up staring at plates of leftover sauces and bones.
"That was...nice." Changmin awkwardly said, finding himself unable to praise Jaejoong properly. It wasn't in him to do such a thing.
Jaejoong laughed at Changmin's face, quickly hugging the younger tightly, despite the magnae fiercely struggling.
"Aww, my cutie pie!"
-
"Do you miss him?" A voice asked, and Changmin realised it was his own, letting the words in his mind slip off the tip of his tongue.
"Do you?" Yunho returned the question, as if it was a given who the "him" in the question is.
Changmin kept silent, thinking through the past. What was the definition of missing somebody?
To be perfectly honest, Changmin hadn't thought about the said man for really long. He was just having a meal with Yunho after their rehearsals, and the thought of eating led to the thought of who's the chef that made this and that led to Jaejoong. Somehow.
And it wasn't really missing, Changmin thought, if all he did was just thinking of Jaejoong.
"I'm not sure."
"I do. And it makes me become the silliest person on Earth." Yunho sighed, smiling faintly at a joke he calls himself. "I even wonder if he's eating well but does that make sense to you?"
Changmin didn't reply, too busy guessing why the thought didn't make sense when Yunho offered the explanation.
"Why would he not eat well, when he could cook to save his stomach, yeah?" Yunho sighed, and Changmin concluded that his leader missed Jaejoong a lot.
Did he? He really hadn't thought much about Jaejoong, and a part of him isn't even guilty for that.

It was a minute to their performance, and a familiar growling was heard. Yunho turned to Changmin as if questioning the existence of the sound, to which Changmin instantly gave his saddest face.
"I'm hungry."
And Changmin could almost see Junsu slipping a sweet into his hands and hurrying him to eat.
"I'm hungry."
And Changmin could almost see Yoochun grab his neck with an arm, before ruffling the styled hair of his (and getting scolded by the stylist noona).
"I'm hungry."
And Changmin could almost hear a whisper. Maybe due to being conscious of the handsfree microphone already attached, Jaejoong always speaks in a hushed voice before every performance.
"I'll cook something delicious for you if you do well." The oldest smiled, hand blindly feeling for Changmin's and giving it a tight squeeze. "Hwaiting!"
"I know, you don't have to tell me thrice." Yunho smiled faintly, giving him a pat on the back. "I'm hungry too, but we'll just have to deal with it."
Changmin nodded slightly, unable to tell Yunho of what he thought had happened.
Habits, having that person constantly doing something when you say a word or do something.
If that was how someone missed someone else, he must say he misses the other three very much.
(And because half his habits deal with food, (the other with porn and everything else), Jaejoong appears in his head a lot more often.)

I was actually writing one fluff and one angst but they somehow linked, so there. :3
And I uh, actually didn’t know how to title this 0.0.
