I can give you some code to change the width, but it doesn't look right with that theme, because it's designed for a certain fixed width.

Hmmm...Is there a way to increase the content column and decrease the left and right column, keeping the entire "table" area the same size? Or am I only able to adjust that content column?

No, that isn't going to help. I should have mentioned that the background image (behind the sidebars) is a fixed size, so if you change any of the widths, the text doesn't line up with the image. You can disable the image, make a new one, do without the background, or maybe try some other kind of CSS trickery. ;)
