s2practice lives again!

May 16, 2005 15:03

It's been a little over a year now since we shut down this community, and the time has come to revive it. s2practice is open again, with a new purpose.

Although there are a lot of communities out there for S2, this one is still geared toward support volunteers, though we are not restricting participation to only those involved with support.

She didn't mention s2layers (unless she already edited?).

It and a few other things were removed from the userinfo as an afterthought.

s2layers was on the userinfo.

looks like a maintainer (prolly asciident) edited it out.

if she'd like, i could give her the source code to the links and stuffs that i have on s2layers' userinfo. same kinda stuff for pics.lj is over at fblayers.

ooooooooooooooooooor... she could view source and do it that way.

Getting people familiar with S2 so they can take advantage of it and troubleshoot it (for personal or support purposes)
i'll join, i could stand to learn a little more about s2. i use s1, but i'm sure it will come in handy when offering support. :)

Would this comm benefit from a search engine like the one we did for thesims2?

Hello, I'm a new customizing user to S2. I would like to make my own custom layout because the whole documentation explains *nothing* on how the code works to me :$ It speaks to me not at all. I'm good at learning from code though. Is there anywhere I can get a step-by-step guide on how to make your own layout and go from there? :$

And sorry in advance if this is put in the wrong place :$

You'll probably find quite a bit of help by looking over some of those.

Lots of communities have good resources; there's a list of helpful communities on http://www.livejournal.com/userinfo.bml?user=s2practice

Good luck. :)
