Two things

First, the surgery was on wednesday. I'm currently on a "OnQ" pump, which means a chemical, much like lidocaine, is being pumped directly to the nerve bundle responsible for providing pain signals to my brain. Unfortunately, this is not a refillable product.

Once the 65 hours is up, my wife yanked the catheter right out of my shoulder.

Interestingly, I still had another 24 hours (??!?!!?) of relief. It wasn't until we started doing my home physical therapy today that the pain really stated to flare up.

Incidently, we're under direct orders from my physical therapist to not fight during our home physical therapy :)
