This was very thoughtfully written and the characterizations were done beautifully. Love how Dean is always an awesome big brother and Sam trying to find his way made my heart ache. There's so much to love about this actually but others have said it better than I, so I just wanted to say thank you so much for writing and sharing this with us. :-)

This was amazing!! I LOVED it!

I really wanted to see a confrontation with John, but I also think you ended it in a very nice way.

Though I certainly wouldn't object to reading a sequel or timestamps (I'm hoping!!).

You really captured Sam's struggle, and I love how supportive Dean was.

The boys really had a better life this way (as opposed to what we know of canon) despite Sam's internal struggles and the non-understanding of several outsiders who made his life difficult. I just hope Sam and Dean get to continue with school, stay close, and at least eventually go on to live their lives together whatever may happen.

I really enjoyed this! I love smart!Dean, and the combination with a Dean who's still trying to take care of and protect Sam even if the threat isn't from monsters was wonderful. I thought you portrayed Sam's struggle very believably, as well as the gamut of people's reactions from completely accepting to confused but tolerant to utterly hostile. Thanks for a great story.

I LOVED this. Really, really loved it. Loved Sam's identity, they say Dean helped him and they dealt with his transgender status, coped with being abandoned. So well done. Ever going to be a sequel? Many kudos on this!
