At first I thought this essay was going to be all about the statistics and history of the Japanese kamikaze pilots. However, the author later regained my interest by addressing the other issues of the kamikaze pilots and making some interesting comparisons

You did a good job analyzing the key points of this article. As for your question, I do belive that the actions of suicide bombers are no different to those of the U.S. and British; they should not be considered "legitimate military operations".
