I don't know if I should really be here since this is an SAA group, but I'm hoping that some of you will be willing to befriend me and talk to me. If you want my full story of my struggle with my husband's sexual addiction, you may read it in my journal (it's the very first entry). I don't believe it says anywhere that you must be a sex addict to join this group; But if anyone posts anything that could be triggering for another, they will be kicked out and banned.

I've added you as a friend and have begun reading your journal. Unfortunately I don't see any button to comment/reply to what you have written. Is it there and I'm just missing it?

I've been sober for four years and eleven months. I'm also the moderator of this group. If you have any questions, I'll try to answer them.

I look forward to getting to know you better.

Cheers!

Thank you so much for replying to me, it means a lot. And I look forward to getting to know you as well. Congratulations on your sobriety! I know that it can be a long road as I have an alcoholic father and a sexual addict husband. :) I will try my best not to be triggering. I am a semi-recovering bulimic and so I know that small things can trigger big relapses.

And yes, there is a place to comment, it's at the bottom of each entry on the right side. It's a sort of light link and it's hard to see on the black. Thanks again for reading and replying!

Welcome to the group. The first step was the hardest for me too. The word Powerless was my main issue. Once I got past step 1 I moved on quickly. I am 4 months sober and on step 9. Good for you for joining COSA.

Congratulations on your sobriety.

Powerless is such a strong word, isn't it?
