He wouldn't die of frustration and exhaustion because these things would come natually. Recycling, working out, counting calories (not exactly what I meant but I'll go with it to prove my point), being the crying shoulder and thinking over commitment should be things he already does. They should be part of his personal goals. I don't want any guy to try and do all of those things just because we're dating. That defeats the purpose altogether.

Lastly, I've only met/spoken with two straight (male) vegetarians since becoming one myself. I know of two others that, after dating me or Laura (also veggie) cut all or some meat out of their diet (one only eats fish and the other stopped eating pork).

It'd be easier than going on three dates to figure out if he's at least veggie and agnostic.
