Chapter 8: Hide and seek
Part I here

It passed already the dinner-time when Aiba entered Ohno and Nino’s apartment.
“Tadaima!” he said with a dreamy smile on his face.
“Oh, Ma-chan! Okaeri!” Ohno said smiling happily when he saw the younger boy. “I started worrying…”
“I told you there’s no need for it…” Nino said knowingly and smacked lightly the back of his head. “So, you and aniki managed to make up, huh?” Nino asked smirking.
“Un” Aiba nodded, light pink coloring his cheeks as he handed back the spare key to Nino then he headed to his room.
“Ma-chan! Are you… limping?” Nino shrieked and burst out laughing.
“Am not!” Aiba denied with a red face and tried to flee into his room as fast as he could but he was indeed limping and it made it much harder…
“You’re cruel to him, Kazu…” Ohno said shaking his head.
“I know, but his face was priceless!”

The next day everything seemed to be normal, the café was busy as every morning and Aiba almost believed that he only dreamt Jun’s visit. But it was only till he heard that familiar voice…
“Where is he?”
Aiba froze with his hand on the slightly opened kitchen door’s knob. He caught a glimpse of his ‘fiancé’ who leant on the counter in front of Ohno. The older man looked at Jun calmly.
“I’m sorry but I don’t know what you are talking about, sir” he answered. “And sorry, but I have to ask you to leave if you don’t order anything…” he added politely.
“Then give me a coffee and the answer for my question: where is Masaki?” Jun demanded firmly as he sat on barstool.
“What’s wrong, Ma-chan?” Nino asked frowning, not understanding the boy’s strange behavior.
He stepped to the door too and looked out.
“Oh, shit…” he cursed and quickly shut the door. “Ma-chan! You better go to aniki… that’s safer now than hiding here…” Nino pointed at the back door.
Aiba nodded immediately. He didn’t like the idea of hiding anywhere but rather this than Jun taking him back to Tokyo and forcing him into the marriage…
Jun looked up immediately when he heard a door shutting close and spotted the kitchen door in the corner.
“He’s there, right?” he asked glancing at Ohno but didn’t wait for his answer just rushed to the door.
“Sir! You can’t go in there! That’s for staff only!” Ohno shouted at him a bit worried but couldn’t stop him with only this.
Jun pushed the door open roughly; Ohno’s after him closely. But they found only Nino in the kitchen preparing sandwiches. Nino looked at them surprised.
“Satoshi? What is he doing here?” he asked his boyfriend then looked at Jun. “I’m sorry, sir, but it’s forbidden to enter here for customers…” Nino told him but as if Jun didn’t hear him.
“Where are you hiding him?” Jun shouted stomping to Nino.
Nino looked up at him confused.
“I’m so sorry, sir, but have no idea what are you talking about…” the shorted guy said innocently.
“You liar!” Jun punched Nino in the face and he fell to ground. “I know he’s here somewhere! Tell me now!” he shouted grabbing Nino’s collar.
“Enough of this!” Ohno shouted at Jun and rushed there to free his boyfriend.”You’re disturbing our work and our customers so I have to ask you to leave!” the older man said firmly once he forced Jun to let go Nino.
Then he didn’t let any chance to the taller man to protest. The normally peaceful Ohno grabbed his forearm strongly and taking him to the front door he pushed the struggling Jun out no so gently.
“I’m sorry, sir, but you’re not welcomed here, so please don’t come back anymore!” he told him coldly then closed the door. “I’m deeply sorry for the disturbance, won’t happen again!” Ohno told apologetically to the customers in the café who sat shocked by the scene. He bowed to them before hurried back to the kitchen to Nino. “You’re okay, Kazu?”
Nino wiped some blood from the corner of his mouth and smiled at his boyfriend sweetly.
“Yeah, I’m fine… You know I can take much more than a punch from a weak bastard like him…”
“I know… But I’m still worry about you…” Ohno said hugging him tightly. Nino giggled at this. “Hey, Kazu! Where’s Ma-chan?” he asked then letting him go.
“Don’t worry about him. I sent him to aniki when we saw that bastard…” Nino grinned proudly.
“Yokatta…” Ohno sighed relieved.

Aiba ran to the assembly shop and tearing the door opened stumbled inside. Sho and the man, whom he was talking to, looked up confused at the loud noise. The ex-gang member frowned worriedly when he noticed the boy.
“So, as I told you, sir, it’ll take two days only and it’ll better than ever!” he said turning back to the man next to him. “Thank you very much for choosing us! See you in two days!” he said and bowed his head then escorted the man out quickly.
Sho looked around outside before closed and looked the shop’s door.
“What happened, baby?” he asked worried as he gathered the boy in his arms.
Aiba closed his eyes for a second and sighed relieved as Sho hugged him.
“Matsumoto…” he mumbled.
Sho immediately saw red hearing his name.
“What did that bastard do? Did he touch you? I kill him!” Sho said angry and let go Aiba just to attain his words.
“No, Sho-san, don’t go!” Aiba panicked. “Don’t leave me alone…” he added whimpering.
Sho softened as he looked at the frightened boy.
“Okay, I don’t go anywhere… but tell me what happened?” Sho asked again pulling Aiba close.
“Nothing happened actually… He just… came to the café and asked nii-san where I am… And Nino told that’d be better if I came here…”
“Kazu’s right…, you better stay with me…” Sho nodded. “I like it more…” he added smiling then kissed Aiba’s lips.
“I like it too…” Aiba answered giggling and hugged Sho tighter…

Later Nino and Ohno came over.
“Nino! What happened to your face?” Aiba asked horrified.
“It’s nothing… though I have to tell you, your fiancé is very ill-tempered… He punched me when I told him I don’t know where you are…” Nino shrugged.
“Don’t call that bastard Masaki’s fiancé… It’s not that they ever get married, duh…” Sho said and held Aiba close to him possessively.
“Haha! Okay, chill out, aniki!” Nino laughed.
“Anyway…” Ohno said suddenly interrupting his laughter. “We thought that’d be better if you’d stay here with Sho-kun for a while, Ma-chan…” he said seriously. “That Matsumoto-guy probably doesn’t know yet where he lives so it’d be safer… And maybe we earn enough time to find out something till he finds you again…” the older man explained.
“Yeah, and you shouldn’t go out either…” Nino added.
“What? Now I’m graunded now?” Aiba asked disgusted. “You can’t lock me up! That would be the same as id I’d be back!” the boy shouted and tears brimming his eyes.
“Hey, hey, baby!” Sho tried to calm him down. “It’s not confinement! We don’t want to lock you up! We want to save you! And right now it’s the only way we can be sure about your safety; if we don’t let you wonder around alone… But you can go out, of course, just have to take me with you…” he finished with a smile.
Aiba blinked a few times and looked at Sho with an adorably innocent face.
“Hontou?”
“Hontou” Sho nodded then hugged him and hinted kisses on his neck; Aiba immediately relaxed into his arms.
“Oooookaaay… then we leave you alone, lovebirds” Nino said mockingly. “Let’s go, Oh-chan!” he said and patted his boyfriend’s butt.
Though the other couple didn’t seem to even notice their departure…
