Epilogue: In which they live happily ever after…
1 year later
“Are you ready, Masaki-baby? We have to leave to the TV station now or we’ll be awfully late!” Sho said through the closed door. Aiba used this room as his home studio in their new house where they moved in only a few weeks ago. And if Sho wanted to be completely honest with himself his lover almost spent more time in there than anywhere else - including being with him - and the younger man completely refused to tell anything about what he was doing in the to Sho.
Just when Sho wanted to knock on the door once more his idol opened it with a bright smile shining on his face.
“All ready to go! Come on, Sho-chan!” he chirped happily.
Sho tried to peek in the room but before he could notice anything extraordinary Aiba closed the door and locked it as he did always.
“What were you doing in there again?” Sho asked frowning.
“Betsuni” the younger grinned then kissed Sho to keep him busy. “Weren’t you talking about being late from somewhere?” he asked innocently and headed to the door.
Sho just sighed and followed him. They were late after all…
“So, Aiba-san, you promised a surprise to us for today. Since our time is almost up, care to share finally what it is?” the female host of the music show asked sweetly then looked at the audience. “We’re really curious, nee?”
The crowd cheered agreeing.
“Well, in this case I have no other chance, ne?” Aiba grinned. “I brought you a brand new song, performed here for the very first time” he answered and a deafening cheer came as an answer to the news.
“If my sources are right you wrote both music and lyrics to it. Is it true?” the other host asked.
“That’s true. It’s the very first time I tried it so please look over it’s mistakes…” the idol said smiling.
“Aiba-san sugoi!” the woman said. “Tell us something about this song, please”
“Well, it’s for a special someone who helped a lot to me to become the person who I am now. I kind of wanted to thank this support with this song…” Aiba said with a gentle smile on his face then got up and walked to the stage where a stool and mic together with his guitar were waiting for him already.
“Minna-san, kiite kudasai… Ore no basho…”

When we met I found not just you
I found what I was always looking for
I found my place, my home…

Aiba looked straight in the camera during the last part and Sho - who was watching the recording on a monitor in the backstage - knew that this was what Aiba was hiding all this time. The manager quickly wiped off the single tear that rolled down on his face and smiled at his lover’s image on the screen and whispered:
“I love you too, Masaki… Happy anniversary…”
