Well, a Dr Who. PBS here finally premiered the Christopher Eccleston series here last night. And I was all excited 'cos I grew up watching Jon Pertwee and then Tom Baker with my Dad ( Read more... )

The season does improve. Many folks prefer the Tenth Doctor (David Tennant), who appears at the very end of the season; but I liked the Ninth Doctor (Eccleston).

I'll hang in with it then. I think I was so excited to finally see it that anything might have been a let down ;D (& I do like Chris Eccelston a lot).

I wasn't going to watch it at all, but my kids are obsessed crazy about it, especially my daughter. She's definitely a fangirl in training. :-D

Britain's on the third season now. Saturday afternoons, she hounds my hubby until he downloads the episode.

Good for her ;D I so get that, Dr Who was my first fandom when I was a wee bitty thing. Then it was Trek and Blake's Seven...and the rest is history! :sighs: yes, I really am that old....

Yes! There are some really good episodes, but the first couple were a bit rough to me.

I just sat & seriously watched Heros for the first time tonight - you know actually paid attention, rather than just being sorta aware of it. Wow, some show, so, so cool!

I'm late, but yes- I would definitely hang in there! There are many good eps along the way.
