To keira_aoi,

All I can give you are hot and wet boys - to also start off the summer!

I cannot resist! It had to have Sho in it. Two half-naked ikemens make one whole, no? =P Enjoy your day! ♥

PS: Chibi Sakumoto had me writing chibi Sakumoto. And I didn't realize until the middle of it that I was promoting Jun's new drama, lolol.

The Legend of Jun’s Smile

“Once upon a time, there was a sad boy named Jun.”

“What am I, five?” Jun scoffs, elbowing Sho’s side.

“Ow!” Sho protested, pinning down Jun’s arm with his own. “Yes? Why else can you not sleep in your own room?”

Jun was going to say that he can sleep in his own room, but decided against it. It was way cozier here than back there anyway.

“Good point,” he said, snuggling closer to Sho. “So why was ‘Jun’ sad?”

Sho frowned. “I don’t know…”

Jun turned sharply to face Sho. “What kind of story is this?”

“It’s about Jun’s smile.”

Jun smirked. “Oh, I thought it was about a sad boy named Jun.”

“Well, yes,” Sho said slowly. “A sad boy named Jun who learned how to smile.”

Jun closed his eyes, the first waves of sleep coming to him. He reached for Sho’s hand and laid it on top of his head. “Go on.”

“First he met Nino, who played all sorts of tricks on him.” Sho’s gentle strokes on Jun’s hair almost sent Jun to sleep, if not for the inconsistency in the story.

“That’s hardly anything to start smiling about,” Jun pointed out.

“No,” Sho agreed, “but seeing Nino satisfied with himself and even happy after every trick made Jun smile. It was very seldom that Jun saw Nino’s smile, but that’s another story.”

Jun nodded, and waited patiently for Sho to continue.

“And then Jun met Ohno, who was good at everything.”

“But Ohno didn’t teach Jun anything,” Jun pouted. “He wouldn’t even give me any of his drawings for free.”

“No. But what made Jun smile the most was that Ohno, who was good at anything, always let Jun do everything.”

Jun smiled.

“But on days when Nino and Ohno were not around, Jun would become sad once more. So it was just his luck that he met Aiba.”

“I know, because days Aiba wasn’t around would have Jun smiling?” Jun said evilly.

“No,” Sho said, soflty hitting Jun’s arm. “Because Aiba’s smile was like the sun, and even without seeing him, Jun can feel its warmth.”

“Huh. That’s cheesy,” Jun said, even as he felt himself glow.

Sho continued to stroke Jun’s hair while Jun waited for the rest of the story. He realized Sho had fallen asleep when Sho’s hand became limp over his head.

Under the blankets, Jun nudged Sho. “Hey, doesn’t Jun meet one last person?”

“Hm?” Sho said sleepily, eyes barely opening. “Oh. He meets Sho.”

“And?”

“And… Sho was just there.” Sho turned and buried his face into a pillow, trying once more to sleep.

Jun watched Sho breathe underneath the blankets for long minutes, and then nudged him once again. “Hey, tell me how it ends.”

Sho made a sound, between a yawn and a mumble, as he shifted positions, putting his arms around Jun. “It doesn’t,” he answers, as they both drifted off to sleep.
