Oh, glorious. A wonderful coda, and quite warming too. I love your take on Sarah so much.

*giggles* I am always amused by people telling me that this series is 'warming' and the like, considering the high kink quotient... But don't think I'm ungrateful for the comments, not at all, I am just Amused. *grin*

SQUEEEE!!!!

Mycroft at Reichenbach Falls instead of Sherlock - and his message and his wedding gift, awww.

I'm very sad to see this series finish, but oh what a wonderful ending it is! I just want to squish the three of them, and squish them, and squish them, and never let go! Sarah moving into 221C! Sherlock playing the violin at their wedding! John getting Sherlock a ring!!! ♥xgazillion!!!

Oh yeah and the bondage/blood play?! HOT!

Thank you so, so much for these wonderful stories! *hugs* I can't wait to see mariemjs's further art - the ones she did so far are breathtaking!

But oh my God, I really REALLY want to see their two children... oh, that mental image just about had my ovaries ready to explode!

In my head, Sarah and John are in 221c, and Sherlock converts John's old room into his lab. And I may be fudging the layout (god only knows how the 3rd floor/221c are *really* laid out) but there's probably enough room for little ones. Mrs. Hudson would be over the *moon,* lol. I'm glad you enjoyed, thanks for reading/commenting! XD

omg yes, Mrs. Hudson would LOVE the little ones!!! :D

I can't remember now, was it you who was asking if readers were interested in a PDF of the fic including all the art? If not, may I humbly suggest it? Because that would be utterly amazing. Such a special story deserves a special presentation. :)

That'll show Mrs. Turner! :P

Yes, I was the one asking. Mostly it was because Marie was making those *really* pretty illustrations, and I wanted to include them with the text somehow without having to deal with lj formatting. Somehow making a pdf seemed *easier* than wrangling lj code, lol. Besides, every time an author's offered their work as a pdf, I've really appreciated the alternative format, so I figured what the hell. Might as well, right?

Thank you so much for this wonderful, wonderful series. I'm so sorry to see it end, but you did all three characters and their complex relationship absolute justice. The only question I'm left with is what did he carve on her shoulder? Thank you again a thousand times for taking the time to write and share this!

Awh, thanks. I don't think he carved anything specific in her shoulder - this was, in my head, more about bloodplay than scarification, though she may have marks either way (depending on how she heals). At the very least, she'll always have the ink. :P

I could not write a deathfic for any of these three to save my life, no. Because I've grown rather attached to them, you see... Go figure, lol.

BUT like I said in the comments at the end, I'm releasing this 'verse into the wild. Write whatever you like with 'em, though I'd LOVE to get a link to read it when it's done (and maybe a mention in the notes, if that's not too much to ask).

Ha! I have never understood that negativity towards Sarah, but then again, like my default icon says 'My muse is kind of a whore' - I don't get all rabid about OTP wars or "amg this female chara is effing up my slash ship!" because honestly? Not worth my time/energy to be hatin'. I love these characters however they're written, provided they're handled with respect and care. :)

I have the urge to snuff Sarah too, so I think I can explain it at least a bit.

Even if you're not slashing Sherlock and John, even if Sarah is not the Mary Morstan of bbcverse, she's a symbol of things to come; of the romance that is eventually going to take John away from Baker Street. And if you love Sherlock and John's epic bromance, or if you are shipping them, that makes Sarah threatening.

It's also just easier to do away with her than to write her into the universe properly, as you've done.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I've written her out of canon once or twice myself, but even if I'm reading JW/SH slash/bromance, it's much more satisfying to see her given a decent exit (or kept as a friend in John's life) than vilified or discarded unkindly. Same goes for Mary.
