EEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! Ok, you know how much I adore this, and I want to tell you again how much I'm blown away by it. It's amazing. It's layered and delicate and strong and deep and everything I want in a story. So glad you finished it!

Ugh, I can't thank you enough for being so patient while I hit the plot!wall, and with my rampant abuse of commas and parenthetical statements. Bless both you and CC for the betawork. <3

^_^ So glad you liked it! And, having a background in Catholicism myself, I wanted to use a lot of the info/details I remembered to keep it believable and grounded, wherever possible.

SERIOUSLY. Though I tried to make Padre Owen kind of chill and liberal, all things considered. Of course, interacting with Sherlock would try nearly anyone's good humour...

Just read this through in one go. And it certainly resonates that John is a Catholic who walked away on the strength of his convictions (and not only because of Martin Freeman's Catholicism, either.)

I love the character of Father Owen.

And, Sherlock in a cassock... my, oh my. And that's without any particular assocations.
