I love how you have written both of these characters :)

Frankly, pulling every string he can and calling every favor he can is the least Mycroft can do to restore some of the damage he's helped Moriarty do. (I don't consider Mycroft wholly at fault, of course, just as I don't blame Sally for *her* actions, it's just... those two have a bit of fixin' to do. =/)
Thanks for reading! :)

Mycroft does have a whole load of making up to do, unless there was some kind of grand scheme in place since the start of Series 2, or if this is all some kind of way of Sherlock still paying back for messing up the whole plane scheme.
I wonder if Sally and Anderson (and Dimmock etc) will be in some kind of trouble to, yes they 'informed' another superior over the level of Sherlock's consultations but only after YEARS of it happening. Dimmock actually used him for cases as well. Although, their superior must not read papers or donate to collecting funds, judging by the fact that Sherlock was attending press conferences to be honoured, right under his nose!

i love your characterization of them (more character exploration, please?)
it's lovely, the way you dissected the aspects of lestrade's grief into these rough edges; he seems that kind of guy, and his reaction in your fic seems a perfectly appropriate response to sherlock's death.
lovely, just lovely.

I kind-of shipped these two after s1, but the stare Lestrade gives Molly when she takes off her coat at the Christmas party in Scandal kind of cemented it... and of course, I badly needed to write *something* after watching Fall, there were too many feelings and no place to put them but into writing.
Thank you again! I'm glad you enjoyed it! :)
