This has apparently happened. That's right, Brandon Routh has been cast--in a recurring role!!--as Ray Palmer on Arrow. I don't--I can't even. I just. Brain is broken. I don't know what to do with this information. I think I might need to breathe into a bag. Because. Just. WHAT? O_O

Excellent! The last time I saw Brandon he was fine as a gay character but the sitcom was awful. At least he'll be on a good show this time! :)

Absolutely! I had actually kept the last episode of that show on my DVR for over a year, and when I rewatched it so I could justify deleting it, and oh my gods, it was so awful! *cringes* But Brandon... oh that dear sweet boy. *shakes head* I just hope he has good chemistry with the actress that plays Felicity, since he's supposed to be set up as a love interest for her. Yikes!

Brandon's character was very sweet, much too good for the jerk of a boyfriend he had.

Yikes is right! He might catch some flack from those who ship Ollie/Felicity but I never did. I consider them more friends than lovers. I'll be interested in seeing Brandon's chemistry with her. :)

Oh yes, he definitely deserved better.

And heh, I'm an Olicity shipper, so it's gonna be tough to watch. *bites nails*
