That scene was actually... pretty easy to write. I could see it all clearly in my head. Did you notice the cameo of another certain future Robin? *cough* ^_^

Oh, Clark! Despite having to help out at that chemical fire, he's going to feel awfully guilty about not being there to save Dick's parents. And Dick might be angry he wasn't there, poor baby.

I love the way you describe Dick's smile as lighting up the whole tent. :)

I love the mention of the Joker, too. I've always found it amusing/interesting that Bruce's closest partner and his deadliest enemy come from the circus (even if the Joker's is only a persona).

The minute I read "The Flying Graysons", I just KNEW what was going to happen that day. Poor Dick ... having to watch this take place.

I loved the Bruce/Clark dynamic though! It was just awesome. Poor Clark. *pets him* He is suffering here but I'm glad he has his Bruce to comfort him.

And Dick is so cute. But it pained me reading about him having to watch his parents' death. :(

Glad you like my Clark/Bruce here. It's a totally different dynamic than in "Lost Years", and I'm enjoying the much lighter Bruce.

There's much more Dick coming soon, so (after some pain) you'll get to see his adorable self much more. ^_^
