Well, my attempts to control the universe have succeeded. I have an interview on Thursday. Not long after my post yesterday, I received an e-mail inviting me to come in for an open house and interview. I checked out the company to make sure it wasn't sketchy and/or an attempt by a placement agency to find new victims. Everything was on the up

Do you know how difficult it is to find that kind of mechanic? They're almost as bad as lawyers or insurance salesmen.

Unfortunately, it's on the Boston end of Cambridge. Bleah. Although HR gremlins are trying to mess up the interview. Will post about it in a bit.
