So, I work in a university hospital research centre where most of the staff has a certain number of years of formal "higher" education. So, you'd figure that all this time spent in books and around supposedly cultivated people would give them a certain knowledge of basic human manners. But not. where the hell is the maintenance department?
have you notified them?

apparently they should be checking the washrooms hourly, not daily.

You mean write a complaint to a unionized hospital maintenance staff? That'll be about as useless as my appendix. Sorry for the sarcasm, I've notified the staff here many times and it doesn't do much.

I tried to do something like that when I caught an employee smoking INSIDE the hospital. Sent a letter to the complaints department, and CC'ed it to him and his manager. Asked for receipt confirmation and a follow up. Even sent left a message at the complaints department a month later. It's been a year.

LOL...we had to share toilet facilities with students and pretty much had a similar situation...now I've got a lock fitted for the ladies and only myself and 3 other women use it...much better.
