It was an amazing journey, filled with memories I will no sooner forget, and frankly I am glad to be safe in one piece. I'm awful at LJ comments so I'll just... put this in convenient list format:

1. Long road trips are awful and amazing on so many levels. I'm glad things turned out better in some ways, though. Having memorable experiences that are marginally over the line of 'not completely terrible' are usually things you can laugh about in the future. And are also good for the soul. |D

2. Random moment, but I couldn't live without my cats, so I totally know how you feel. When I move out of the house, dad's going to dump them on me, but I want to live in a stable place first before all that. tl;dr, pets are the greatest. ;; <3

YOU ARE ALIVE (LITERALLY AND FIGURATIVELY) and I am glad to hear you are safe! Unfortunately it seems like things will be a bit too tight for me to be making any trips anytime soon, but it's definitely in the back of my mind for the future! ♥
