Sabrina wandered the halls that seemed fairly empty. Dinner had just finished and most students had selected either the library or their dorms for recreation. Sabrina felt restless, but not in the mood for the bright sun and so continued wandering, her hands clasped together behind her

Remus staggered back, not so much from the force of impact as the sheer shock of being face-to-face with Sabrina for the first time in ages. "Sa--" he paused, then corrected himself, trying to collect what remained of his dignity. "Miss Holloway."

Remus, Sabrina thought mentally address him, but found herself mute when he called her by her legal title.

"Lupin," she said emotionless, facing the Gryffindor. She wanted to hug him, but stayed still, he didn't want her.

"You look... well. How have you been?" he said stiffly, feeling like he was either going to throw up from the guilt, or else tell her exactly what he'd been getting up to lately.

Running her fingers through her hair instinctively she smiled, although a little coldly. It was the first time she had applied make up and actually tried in awhile.

"Oh you know, the usual." she lied, "and yourself?"
