Sitting on the couch in the room they share, Uruha glances sideways at Tora.
The black haired man is leaning back, eyes closed.
Tension radiating from his body.

"What's wrong?" Uruha asks softly.
Slowly opening his eyes, Tora turns his head.
Looking the other straight in the eye as he responds.
"Don't you get it? This is big. What we're planning has never been attempted before."
"That doesn't mean it can't be done. It just means that no one else is as smart as we are. Or as good either," Uruha smiles.

"If this works we'll be rewriting the rules. Everything will change. And not just for us," Tora continues quietly.
Eyes not focusing on anything.
"Word will leak. Others will follow our example."
"See?" Uruha smiles, "You've already got us succeeding."

"What are you talking about?" the other asks, turning back to look at him.
"If you didn't think we'd make it, you wouldn't have said that others would follow. No one would want to copy our strategy if we fail."
A bright smile lighting Uruha's face as he finishes.

Shaking his head, Tora laughs at Uruha's logic.
"I guess you've got a point," he admits a bit reluctantly.
Still not wanting to trust in any half-formed plan.
Or plans, actually.
The group managed to think of several workable options.
Mostly.

"So," Tora says with a sigh as he sits up, "got any ideas?"
"Oh, I've got lots of ideas," Uruha teases, "but none of them involve our bosses."
The other man raises an eyebrow in question.

"You're too tense," Uruha announces, standing.
Tora watches as the honey blond moves around behind him.
Placing his hands on the dark haired man's shoulders, Uruha starts to gently rub.
Trying to ease some of the tension from his partner.

"Hm. Maybe you should lay down. Then I can reach more of you," Uruha murmurs almost in Tora's ear.
Causing a slight shiver to run thru his body.
Because of both Uruha's voice and the thought of the other man's hands moving all over him.
Quickly moving from the couch, Tora strips his shirt off.
Tossing it aside as he stretches out on the floor.
Offering his bare back to Uruha.

Uruha steps back around the couch, a satisfied smirk on his lips.
Settling next to the prone form, he runs a finger down the other's spine.
"Are you trying to relax me or turn me on?" Tora asks, voice low.
"Maybe a little of both," Uruha chuckles. "Now would you be still and let me do my thing here?"
Deciding that it's a win-win situation for him, Tora rests his cheek on his forearm.
Letting Uruha have his way in this.

The honey blond places his hands on the other's shoulders.
Applying only a little pressure at first.
Working down along Tora's spine.
Uruha feels the other relax with each pass of his hands.

Smiling to himself, he leans forward.
Lightly placing a kiss on a shoulder blade.
Moving lower with both fingers and lips.

Tora tries to remain still as Uruha continues to work on his back.
But it's increasingly difficult when the man slides his tongue out.
Leaving a wet trail along his spine.

"Jesus, Uruha," Tora almost moans.
"Something wrong?" Uruha chuckles.
Pushing himself up, Tora sits so he's facing his boyfriend.
"No, nothing is wrong. Unless you consider me getting turned on as 'wrong', that is."

"Oh no. I'd say that it's perfect," Uruha almost purrs back at him.
The look he sees in Uruha's eyes confirms what Tora's thinking.
That this was the other man's plan from the start.

The two men lean in towards each other.
Lips meeting in a soft kiss.
Uruha reaches out, taking Tora's shoulders in his hands.
Gently pushing at the other man.

Taking the hint, Tora lies back down.
Pulling Uruha with him.
Sinking his hands into the honey blonde’s hair.

Uruha's a bit surprised by the other man's seeming lack of aggression.
Slow and sweet is not their norm.
Both men like danger a little too much for that.

Deciding that the change of pace is actually quite nice, Uruha goes with it.
Not pushing.
Just letting himself savor and enjoy.

Removing his hands from the other's hair, Tora starts to slowly, gently rub Uruha's back.
Letting his hands drift lower and lower.
Until he can slip them under the other's shirt.
His movements raising it little by little.
Uruha sits back, smiling, as he lifts the material over his head and tosses it aside.

Coming back together, Tora tries to keep things as they were.
His touch remaining light and gentle.
Uruha follows his lead.
Still not sure of why the other is acting the way he is.

Tora gently cups Uruha's cheek.
"Have I said 'I love you' today?" the black haired man asks.
Chuckling, Uruha shakes his head.
"Well, I do," he smiles softly before brushing his lips across the other man's.

Wrapping his arms around Uruha, Tora holds him tight as he continues to softly kiss his lips.
Doing nothing more than caressing the bare skin beneath his hands.
Pulling back, Uruha looks Tora in the eye.
"What's with you tonight?" Uruha asks, almost scowling.

"It's all this talk of mutiny. Or rebellion. Or whatever you want to call it. The idea of taking our lives back. It's made me realize just how important you guys are to me. Especially you."
Uruha waits, almost holding his breath.
Seeing this side of his love, the gentle side, is a rare treat.
And he doesn't want to do anything to break the spell.

Embracing Tora, Uruha sighs.
"You mean the world to me, too. I don't know what I'd do without you. Whatever you want to do tonight, you know I'm game."
"I know," Tora murmurs into his hair.

Letting a sigh of his own escape, Tora sits back.
"How about I get us a blanket, maybe some pillows and you get some wine and glasses and we head up to the roof?"
Smiling Uruha nods.

Giving his lover one more kiss, Tora stands.
Holding out his hand to help Uruha to his feet.
Smiling as he turns away, Tora heads for their room as Uruha goes to the kitchen.

It only takes them each a few minutes to gather everything together.
Uruha's waiting by the door when Tora comes back into the room.
Smiling sweetly at the black haired man, Uruha holds the door open.

The two men make their way carefully up to the roof.
Uruha takes a moment to admire the view of the city.
Turning around to call Tora over, he stops.

The black haired man is on the spread blanket.
Propped up on his elbow, eyes on Uruha.
"Come here," he says softly.

Ruki walks slowly thru the door of the club.
Eyes checking around the room.
Not that anyone's been stupid enough to try anything lately.
But there have been rumors.
Strange things have been happening in other towns.
Things that make him just a bit more cautious than usual.

Spotting the tall man he's looking for he makes his way to the booth.
Smiling to himself at the other man's choice.
It's in one of the corners, facing the door.
Giving its occupants a clear view of the whole place.

A scowl finds it's way to his face as he gets closer.
Those other two are with him.
Again.

Not that there's anything wrong with them.
He just doesn't like the way they look at him.
It's almost like they know he's lying about what he does for a living.
Like they know he's a killer and they're just waiting for him to slip up.
Ruki gives a mental snort.
As if.

"Hi," he says as he sits, trying to mask his annoyance.
"Hey Ruki," the man next to him smiles as he slides a drink in front of him.
"Thanks Shou," the small man smiles back at him.
Seeming to forget for a minute the two others at the table as he leans in and claims the other man's lips.

Reluctantly pulling back from the other's sweet lips, he turns to the two men across from him.
Proving that they weren't forgotten, just ignored.
Ruki addresses Shou's friends.
Still a bit disturbed by the fact that both men tend to hide parts of their faces.
The taller, Saga, sometimes wears a patch over one eye.
Like now.
His left eye hidden by what Ruki surmises is a butterfly wing.

"So what's with the serious faces? Somebody kill your dog?"
Saga just rolls his eyes.
Leaving the other to answer.
Reita.
The one that wears a strip of cloth across his nose.
Ruki's still not sure what -that's- all about.

"Our friend is in a bit of trouble. I think he's gotten into something that's a bit over his head."
Ruki looks back at Shou.
Seeing that he looks worried too.
"Want me to check it out?" Ruki offers.

"Just what kind of connections have you got with that 'security' job of yours?" Reita buts in before Shou can answer.
"The secure kind," Ruki glares across the table. "You know, you never did tell me what kind of data you guys retrieve?" Ruki challenges back.
Touching Reita's arm Saga interrupts.
"This isn't helping."

Reita relaxes back in his seat.
Eyes still on the smaller man.
"I'm not sure what you could do," Shou says, recapturing Ruki's attention, "but thanks for the offer."
Nodding more to himself than at anyone else, Ruki lifts the glass in front of him and takes a sip.
"If you change your mind, let me know," the small man says as he leans back as well.
Playing with the glass on the table.

"So, what do you want to do tonight?" Ruki asks the man next to him.
Hoping that whatever it is the other two won't be included in on it.
Wanting to spend more time alone with the other man.

Shooting a look at his two friends, Shou takes a long drink from the glass in front of him.
Setting it down, he keeps his eyes on the table.
Fiddling with the glass while he answers.
"I've heard about this place on the other side of town. I thought maybe we could go check it out."

"Sounds good to me," Ruki answers.
Trying to keep his voice neutral he looks across the table.
"Are you guys joining us?"

"No," Saga says, taking Reita's hand as he stands.
"We've got reservations for a nice, quiet dinner. And if we don't leave now, they might give our table to someone else."
Throwing a smile at the others, Reita lets himself get dragged from the table.

Waiting until the other men pass thru the door, Ruki quietly eyes Shou.
Mind supplying numerous reasons for the other's sudden nervousness.
But hoping beyond hope that it's the one reason he's been waiting for.

Quickly finishing off his drink, Shou sets the glass back on the table.
Turning back to Ruki.
Bright smile lighting up his face.
"Ready?" he asks, showing no sigh of the nervousness Ruki had just seen.
"Whenever you are," Ruki says, emptying his glass as well.

Standing, Ruki follows as Shou slowly walks to the door.
Stopping just outside the door to wait for Ruki, Shou glances around.
Quickly taking Ruki's hand and leading him down the street.

But not before the smaller man catches sight of the other two.
Reita's back is against the wall a few buildings away.
His arms around Saga, their bodies pressed together as they share a kiss.

Smiling, Ruki lets Shou lead him around a corner.
"Are we walking all the way?" he asks, mildly curious.
"No," Shou stops, half-turning towards the other man.
Dropping his head to hide his eyes, Shou continues.
"Actually, I lied. I have something else in mind."

Cocking his head to one side, Ruki reaches out.
Moving the hair away from Shou's eyes he whispers.
"Wherever you want to go is fine with me. I told you I just want to spend time with you."
Shou clears his throat as he reaches into his pocket.
Holding out a keycard, he blushes.

"I thought," the taller man softly supplies, "that maybe we could just go somewhere quiet. It'll be nice not having to talk over music and stuff."
The smaller man clamps down on the excitement he's starting to feel.
Maybe Shou doesn't mean anything more than he's saying.
