How Does Intelligent Design Theory have a *Practical Use* in Life Sciences?
Really. I was talking this over with myself and I came to this funky question.

That is a good question. I would think it would be in the case of flue shots. We need new flue shots every year cause the virus that causes the flue changes. Thusly Evolution at work. Though Practical Use is a hard term to define in this...

But the problem is that you have to define the terms before you can solve the problem. But my simple answer is that Intelligent Design is the most fundamental LCD explanation for the Universe. To wit: God created everything to a plan. Creatures will evolve, stars will be formed and created within a constant framework. Our job is too discover that framework and how it works.

Think of it as Humanity's job security. :)

*I* am a Christian, but I see no discrepency between believing in God and Science. But I will also admit I am not a literalist when it comes to the Bible. I know what a parable is. :)
