This is For Katie (Chapter 2)

The ride had been a rough one. The TARDIS had shook until Jack, Rose and the Doctor had all landed in a sprawling heap, giggling and laughing until they could hardly move. Rose rolled over and dug her finger into the Doctor’s side through his coat, causing him to giggle louder and scramble away from her.
She grinned and climbed on top of him, effectively pinning him down. “Where are we Doctor?” she whispered in his ear.
The Doctor went completely still underneath her, limbs collapsing and breath stuttering. Jack laughed and heaved himself up, sauntering towards them. He sat down next to their impromptu pig pile, running his hands through the Doctor’s brown hair. “Doc, if Rose whispering in your ear is enough to make your hearts beat faster, I don’t know how you’ll respond to the things I plan to do to you.” *1
Rose cracked up, burying her face in the Doctor’s back. Jack snickered and offered her a hand. Soon they were up on their feet, dusting themselves off, while the Doctor continued to lie on the ground, mumbling something under his breath. His eyes were shut tight.
“Well, Doc, if you don’t know where we are, I might as well find out.” Jack grinned and gave Rose a little push towards the Doctor’s prone form. As she went and started tickling him again (causing much high pitched giggling in the process), Jack threw open the door of the TARDIS.
Outside was a pale boy, crouched in front of an equally pale girl, who was shaking and whose eyes were as wide as saucers. The boy was growling. *2
Jack looked over his shoulder into the TARDIS, seeing Rose tickling the Doctor into submission on the grated floor. He looked back at the two pale children. There was something off about them. Especially the boy. He couldn’t quite put his thumb on it, but…
Jack looked back at the happy scene his two friends were acting out. He didn’t know what was up with these kids, but he sure as hell wasn’t going to put Rose and the Doctor in danger because he couldn’t quite place this feeling of wrongness. He wondered if this was how the Doctor felt about him. *3
Taking a step away from the TARDIS, Jack sucked in a breath, waiting for something bad to happen, waiting for the girl to scream or the boy to pull some sort of weapon.
What happened occurred much to fast for him to follow.
*1 Okay, so in this (crack) ‘verse, Jack, the Doctor (10) and Rose are all involved in a big super awesome threesome. Yeeeeaaahhh…. :C
*2 I always thought Edward was sort of like Bella’s whiteass pitbull. Well, sort of. -_-;
