Thanks! I always thought fireworks were incredibly awkward. They're these shows with awesome openings, and then it's dead silent, and then gigantic explosions where everyone jumps. Weird.

I agree with jij that the fireworks metaphor was really cool for their first time! Kind of 'wow!' but also kind of jumpy and scary and awkward. I liked the rhythm of the story, if that makes any sense! it has a really great reading cadence. And, you know. S/B pron. You can't go wrong!
