This is increasingly more fascinating to me. :D I'm loving tracing the threads of power, I'm so interested to see how Kristoph will be involved too. It's so interesting that Edgeworth thinks his role has been reversed, and I love his 'manly' conversation with Maya. ;3

I'm interested to hear more about this universe now... (forgive my tiredness here...) does identifying as a top or sub correllate more with behavior or sexual desire? I'm assuming that needing to identify with one of the two is something ingrained into society much as the sex binary is into ours... how would you expect this to manifest in children, in how they interact and respond to physical difference/come to understand the mentality of top/subness?
I'm so intrigued by it all. :D And still by the prospect that Klavier is a true revolutionary. <3

Originally, I was going to go AU after GS3, but I just HAD to bring Kristoph in. This kind of world is built for people like him. And then the story ended up slotting in really well as a companion to GS4 ( ... )

ooooh, you're continuing this story! AWESOME!!

I went and looked at the links you posted in the first part, and ended up reading that House fic, and then passing it along to my friend... this whole system is really interesting, and I'm glad you're having a crack at it.

This story just took this universe from cute-funny-sexy to really interesting -- I'm not familiar with any of the fandoms the stories that inspired it are from, so the idea is new. (It took seeing the comments to figure out exactly what "gay" would be in this society -- I'd initially assumed it would mean "likes things equal/without the powerplay".)

And I like your Kristoph so far.

Yeah, I didn't realize I hadn't explained it until after I had already posted it, actually. It's not going to come up again until/unless I do prequel stuff, though, so that was really just meant to be an offhanded sort of comment. I'm not sure what wanting things equal would be like- I guess it would be more like genderfuck than anything else.
