The Doctor stayed out of sight until he knew Rose had left the Tardis. He was a bit disappointed she had not tried harder to find him but then again she had known how useless it would be to look for him when he didn’t want to be found

I absolutely love Mickey in this - how loyal he is to Rose and the Doctor. And I am dying to know who showed up right there at the end...

Thanks! Mickey seemed to accept his place in Rose's life eventually although I dont believe he really did this until he decided to go to the parallel universe. I have decided to firmly ignore cannon and keep him around.

Been waiting all day to get home and read the last three chapters! Not sure why but I want Jack to be the mysterious voice and phone call. Looking forward to the next bit and hearing how the Doctor explains himself. Sounds like Quite A Few memories are missing.
