Yes, I agree. We need those. We need to slap down their ignorance and hatred. We need to do so in a way that energizes us and makes us shout "Fuck yeah!"

Just as we need all the rest of the conversations. This is why I do not ask anyone to stop. Instead I start the conversation I need.

I feel awkward replying to this, but I was moved to tears.

I know we haven't kept in touch in ages and we're likely coming from fairly different places, but there's so many points I can relate to and I don't know how to tell you that without fearing that I sound like I'm minimising your experience. I honestly can't think of anything else to add to this conversation at the moment, so I'll just content myself with wishing you the best.

*hugs* thank you. You are not minimizing at all. I think there are elements which are universal to many people's experiences. I feel we've all felt that pain of exclusion or feeling on the outside. So yes, it is very possible to relate.
