Ah yes, I was there when the "numero incorrecto" thing started. Apparently, Baby Sister had - in a moment of spontaneity or madness (or both) - decided to call the number printed on the rotary phone she bought. It was still in service and she had trouble hanging up because the Hispanic man on the other end did not speak very good English. Chuckling (I'd heard this story before), I asked if she knew how to say, "I have the wrong number" en Español. After three years of Spanish, the best she could come up with was "Numero incorrecto," (a literal translation). Steve said it sounded like the name of a Harry Potter spell, we cracked up, and thus a rather amusing (sort of) inside joke was born.
