About $5000 worth of FAFSA money never showed up for me and every now and again, my mom harasses me to find out what the hell happened. Alas, this sort of thing isn't a task one usually leaves to a shy 18-year-old who has a mild-to-moderate aversion towards phone conversation. But a few months back, I got a letter that seemed to be saying that I was not qualified for financial aid, but ignored it because my brother got his money and we're in the same financial situation.
Ah, the FAFSA. I remember that. I started work on all those forms the night before the deadline and some of the documents that had to be signed by both me and my parents ended up getting signed, scanned, emailed, printed out and sent that way.
