My parakeet died this evening.

I've had her about six years. It was time for her to pass on.

Citrine. She's buried next to Marble, who died... quite a while ago.

Aww, I'm sorry to hear that. Even when pets live to a ripe old age, it still hurts to lose them.

Indeed, and she lived a while longer than parakeets are "supposed" to.
