but I think my bumgenius diapers are near death. The velcro is all shabby and the laundry tabs no longer stick, and I noticed today that the plastic stuff inside is all...weird looking. They are still performing okay I guess.

I have fallen asleep three times since starting this post. I guess that means I should hit the hay!

I've only been using mine for a month and the laundry tabs don't stick. I like the diapers but it's so annoying that they get stuck on everything in the wash. They should really make better laundry tabs on them.

I hate separating the diaper chain. From now on I will only buy diapers with snaps!

Off your topic, but I saw on your website that you looove your new running shoes. What kind?! I know that different pairs work better for different people and blah blah blah, but I have such a hard time finding ones I like. So yeah, what are they and what makes you love them? :)

They're the New Balance 767 stability trainers. They have a nice roomy toe box with mesh all around, great for my bunions, and a decent arch for my flat feet too. The "better" ones, the 768 maybe? they had too much of an arch which I found to be annoying (in the store anyway). They feel secure and yet my toes can breath in them.

I don't know where you got them, but some websites will give you replacement diapers, or at least a credit, if you write to them and say how quickly the diapers fell apart. I can't remember which one it was, though.... But really, there was one site where a lady said that her bumGenius diapers fell apart in a few months, then she complained and was sent more. The new ones fell apart, too. But at least she got one set of replacements. And then there's another site... (My brain isn't working.) ...where you can turn in your old diapers and they give you credits for new ones (hypothetically for the next size up). So, like, you might get 7 bucks for one bumGenius, or 3 bucks for a kissaluvs, or whatever. I wish my memory was working better, but this is stuff I looked up pre-baby, pre-fire, and I am having a hard time accessing stuff from before.

But I'm glad your diapers still work!
