Whaaaatthisissocool!!! You have my complete support in this. I only wish I could be as brave; I've actually wanted to do burlesque for a while but have had too little time/too much fear of parental backlash to do it. You are kickass.

Absolutely love the feathers fluffing up your tush, by the whosit. Now, a question, for those of us who are lacking in culture: are these costumes strictly for Caribana, or are they for a specific dance, or what? (Dude, you have no idea how embarrassed I feel asking this, lol.)

Hey Leona dear! Do not feel uncultured at all, you're not expected to know much about Carnival culture unless of course...you're from a nation that celebrates it, hahah.

These costumes are Brazilian carnival costumes. They look somewhat similar to Caribbean (Trini) carnival costumes but I find them much more elaborate...and a lot more skimpy.

I think you should do burlesque anyway. I was (and am still, lol) terrified of parental backlash, but since graduation have adopted an "I only live once" attitude towards life, and it's been soooo freeing. This day I was so very uncomfortable, I've never been that naked in public before in my life ever, but I got over it, and clearly was loving it near the end, hahaha.

I'm good!! I should post an actual update post. I'm working sales, and haven't applied to grad school and probably won't, and my mom will hate me, but I can care less. Yayyy nihilism!
