yeah, i just wiki'd the style too:

"Seven Star Praying Mantis Boxing (Chinese: 七星螳螂拳; Pinyin: qī xīng tángláng quán). This style is the original form of praying mantis kung fu and is widespread in the Shandong Province and surrounding areas. Luo Guangyu (羅光玉) is famous for having passed down this style to Hong Kong and other parts of Southern China, where it is still practiced today. Seven Star is considered by many as the 'hardest' of the Praying Mantis styles, however it still utilizes soft-hard principles and is classified as a soft-hard style."

the original form, and hardest :O - going to be tricky considering I dont have much martial arts background, but they said it should be ok. I'll just keep at it.

Most people who join a martial art have never had experience in another one, and you will have the added bonus, that you wont have to untrain yourself. Like for example, a JuJitzu was to do Karate, there's some differences you would have to reteach yourself.

But it sounds pretty awesome, you won't know yourself once you get that martial art blood into you..............

dark alley, sounds a bit like Fightclub?

I never thought about moving back, I knew things would improve. Theres soo much here, but with less bogans. Just took a bit of time to get settled back in, and im sure you know the reasons for that.

Perth has always been perth, with all its diversity.
