meh, I have probably just been lucky in the past, living much closer to the city. its a 30min drive to the city from here... on a sunday

hmmm.... i don't think you realise just how big perth is - you are reallly quite close to the city. Not to mention a train trip would only be max 15-20 minutes.

I used to go to tafe in thornlie, had friends who lived in armadale; I know how big perth is :P - but like I said, I have been living close to the city the last few times (mainly north of the river), I'm just spoilt; ok fine, ill change the word 'outskirts' :P
