Life is not all doom and gloom. There are a few bright spots. I had stopped my daily walks last year since navigating the walk up the mesa was now impossible. Walking around the neighborhood was boring. so I just quit. I controlled my weight by limiting input. I adopted strict portion control and was mindful of what I was eating. Thankfully

Good on the walking! My wife has been walking daily, and watching her intake as well. I had my weight down to its lowest since before college, but having become a retired rabbit I’m seeing a slow increase again. I will be adding more activity to my days :o)
And I hear ya on the geese! There were Canada geese next door at my mom’s every day to eat the bird seed that spilled from the feeders. Slippery damn stuff everywhere!
