I was out tonight with an old friend when I received a frantic call from my room mate that I needed to come home immediately. She had arrived home to find blood and fur all over the house and my older dog, Faith, lying in the hallway struggling to breathe. Oh hell, hon. My cat was munched by a rottweiler when I was in high school. It was not pretty. I still remember the feeling draining out of my icy face and fingers when I found her. I'm so sorry you had to feel that tonight. I'm sending you love and calming juju tonight.

It was rough. I was also outside when my friend used his handgun to make sure it was over and as bad as that sounds, I wanted to be there for her to the end. I feel better knowing she is better off now when I know the end was so scary and painful. Thank you for the love and calm. I really need it.
