Al had that Virus and it was really hard to get rid of.

He had to go into Dos and take some of it out because at first it wasn't letting him get online, run Spybot, update AVG or anything. So he removed some of it that way. Then ran Malwarebytes, SpyBot, Avg, Avari (I think?) and some other programs all coming back with different results.

IT was at least a month before the virus was fully removed.

Now that I have probably made you cry with that last bit of information, maybe you should message Al on facebook and he might be able to give you some pointers.

I promised myself I wasn't going to cry...

I ran Norton Antivirus in safe mode, and it found and removed two viruses I've never heard of, and its still replacing URLs.

And that's all it appears to be doing... it's not putting up a new background or giving me annoying pop-ups... I can still connect to the internet etc.

What I'm really worried about is whether this is just an annoyance or if somebody somewhere is going to steal my personal info somehow if I try to do anything else online.

Unfortunately I have no idea what to look for to disable - Malwarebytes and Spybot show nothing now - NAV found something called Bloodhoundpdf, and another virus, but nothing that appears in my device managaer.
