Well, there is that. (grins) Something about the thrill of the "hunt".... Although, part of me thinks they asked the wrong questions. They asked "what do you like," not "what do you do." There's a difference, sometimes. At least when you're 40!

From what your mother read about birth order, as I recall the first child is the mother's, the second the father's, the third something else again--more a bridge. Hmmm.
That makes Abby the "father's." She and I sure do have a lot in common in chemistry. What works for one usually works for the other.
The sensual, libidinous appetite in you both sure didn't come from your mother, either. I know exactly from whence it sprang (so to speak).
So, are you your mother's child? Or is it kadollan, who is more so, I think. You're the one that is both/neither and a creative power person in your own right--hardly clinging to the mother or even resembling her, except in face. She looked a lot like you when she was twenty. Other than that, you've been very much your own person.

Yeah, I think that must be something like very close to the truth. I always wanted to be like mom -- but when I want "mom," I go to Becky. Unfortunately, she tends to lack the one thing mom had that gave comfort: She tends to be more the careful, thoughtful, logical judge, as opposed to sympathetic yet honest. I try to be sympathetic but honest -- but as I've gotten older, I've gotten less sympathetic (and more emotional than logical). Or maybe I'm just better at setting boundaries with people (but not very tactful at it.) I've really had no choice but to go my own way. But when it comes to "pecking order," as I said -- I'm generally on the bottom. I care more what they think about me than they care what I think about them. It's been a real liability at times, and I don't know how to change it. So I continue to worry-- Sigh~ oh, well. Your words give comfort. Thank you!
