Still Hanging In There...
Got a notice from my aunt on email this morning. Thought at first it was from dad (as she used his account), and that they'd moved him home for the final days. But no -- she said she thought he wouldn't have made it through last night, but had called hospice and he had rallied, meaning it should only be a couple of days now. Down to hours to a couple of days. They ended up trying to put in a "J" tube (jejunum)to try to help my dad get nutrition -- and I still don't know if he agreed to it or if they overrode him and decided he didn't really understand what was going on. Either way, it didn't work, and now they've stopped all treatment expect pain care, and gave him ( Read more... ) -

Well, last week's blood work was a little better again. Some things that were way out of whack for the last two or three times that looked like failure was imminent are suddenly closer to normal range, or appear better (if nowhere near normal).
