Title: Coffee and Sticky Notes

Genre: fluff, one-shot

Summary: Kyuhyun likes to have his coffee every morning signed with and by his love.
Note: I do not own Super Junior or any of the members. I only own the plot. Any resemblance to another one is purely coincidental (or maybe we're soulmates ^3^ ) since I have not read one like mine before. This is my first fic so please bear with it. ^____^
Kyuhyun sat up on his bed and started sniffing into the air. He was used to waking up with the smell of his favorite black coffee sitting on his bedside table. No matter how late his roommate slept, Sungmin always managed to wake up earlier than him and prepare him a cup of coffee with a little pink sticky note attached to it. He always started his day sipping the warm morning drink and smiling at his hyung's cuteness through the little pieces of paper.
He always wondered where Sungmin kept his stash of sticky notes. There wasn't a day where he didn't see one in their dorm. Sometimes he sees one in the kitchen, stuck to a covered plate telling him that it was his breakfast and that he should eat a lot. There are times when Sungmin would leave one on the closet door or the bathroom mirror reminding him what their schedule is for the day.
Those little notes meant so much to Kyuhyun as they were reminders of how special he is to his hyung. And Sungmin was to him as well. Even more than special as Kyuhyun once admitted to himself. He loved his adorable bunny, but he didn't dare tell him, afraid of how it will affect their friendship. They weren't the best of friends in their group, but they had a special bond between them, often shared through nights with a couple of wine glasses and short, meaningful talks. That was enough to make him fall for his roommate. He kept all the sticky notes he had received from Sungmin ever since he realized his feelings in a locked drawer, and taking a peek at his hyung's handwriting (with a little heart at the bottom of each paper) once in a while made him foolishly happy.
Kyuhyun stood up feeling a bit grumpy mainly because of the absence of his coffee and his hyung. He looked at their closet and inside the bathroom before making his way into the dining area where (surprisingly) everyone is with a frown on his face. Everyone except Sungmin. It was their day off and knowing Sungmin, he usually liked to just stay and relax in the dorm, spend time playing with Kyuhyun or practicing his guitar. It was odd that he was the one who went out for the day, and too early to add.
Leeteuk noticed at once how Kyuhyun wasn't in the mood that day but just shrugged it off because hey, he was always like that. It was only a few months back when Kyuhyun had a 'good morning everyone' smile plastered on his face when he walks out from his and Sungmin's shared room. Eunhyuk, being the observant one knows that Kyuhyun is looking for Sungmin and spared him the trouble of asking where he was. Their aegyo king turned out to have left to visit his family and 'take a break', as their manager was told. Kyuhyun mouthed a thank you to Eunhyuk before dragging himself back to their room without even eating taking a glance at the breakfast the eternal maknae prepared.
Kyuhyun paced around the room trying to think of something to distract himself from missing his beloved hyung. If Sungmin were there, he would be contented to just sit down on his bed and pretend to play Starcraft while actually just stealing glances at the cute little bunny who could have been sleeping or reading a book on the opposite bunk. But he wasn't. Kyuhyun plopped down on the floor, upset that his roommate didn't even mention to him about going out for the day. He remembered Sungmin being in deep thoughts that night and even arranged his clothes (which he only does every other week) before going to sleep earlier than usual. Kyuhyun started to pull on his hair exaggeratedly. He should have known something was off.
Before he almost actually plucked his hair, Kyuhyun noticed a piece of pink, crumpled paper lying beside their room's trash bin. The bin itself was empty so Kyuhyun assumed that Sungmin disposed of the contents but forgot to pick the particular piece up. He reached for the sticky note and slowly opened it. Kyuhyun's eyes grew as he looked at the five things written on it. One was his name, another was a heart shape. The other three words was what he could not believe. He automatically beamed and practically jumped up and down when it hit him that he was not dreaming at all.
After placing the special note on top of his secret stash, Kyuhyun dashed outside sporting an ear-to-ear grin. The other members did not bother to complain about Kyuhyun's 180 degree mood change for the rest of the day as long as he was not (too much) a disturbance to them, mainly because he was too hyper and excited without anyone knowing why.
Kyuhyun knew that Sungmin would be home that night or early in the morning, but he decided not to stay up and wait. He thought that he needed to sleep early and before Sungmin arrives to be able to do what he had been planning the whole day for the next morning. Lying down and facing the other's bed, he whispered a few sentences with a smile, as if practicing his lines for a short speech before he finally drifted off to dreamland.
Kyuhyun immediately sat up and reached to his bedside table at the first ring of his alarm clock. He wasn't surprised when he didn't feel nor smell coffee in their room that morning, and he knew why. He looked around and saw his most beloved hyung sleeping peacefully in his bed, arms locked in a stuffed bunny, messy hair and blanket thrown to the floor. Kyuhyun smiled and picked up the pink blanket, covering his hyung before going outside to commence his plan.
The sweet aroma of coffee (Sungmin liked it with lots of milk and sugar) filled the room as Kyuhyun placed the cup on Sungmin's desk. He carefully took out a pad of unused green sticky notes from his drawer and a black pen and started scribbling down his message. Like what Sungmin always did, he stuck the note to the cup and positioned it so that it faces the bed. Happy with what he did, Kyuhyun sat down on Sungmin's bedside. He stared at the beautiful man for minutes, admiring his perfect skin, sculpted nose, pouty lips and gorgeous eyes- he could go on forever listing down the things he loved about Sungmin. Remembering that he wanted to make breakfast for his hyung, he stroked the latter's hair and kissed his forehead before he went out of their room as quietly as possible, searching for Ryeowook or Hankyung to help him with his task.

Sungmin slowly opened his eyes and groaned at the pain on his back. He was still tired from the trip he made to his parents house the other day, not to mention he returned back just a few hours before one of the members' earliest schedule. He curled and stretched his body before finally forcing himself to get up. He thought of Kyuhyun instantly and how he left him without a word- or even a note, that he'd be going to his parents. Seeing that the maknae was already not in bed, he felt guilty for the second time, but a bit relieved, too.
Kyuhyun was the reason he took that break, he needed some time to think for himself about his feelings for the man. During that day, Sungmin decided that he will tell Kyuhyun everything- he will confess to the maknae. He was afraid of what answer he will give him, but he prepared himself for the worst and concluded that he will not let his feelings, if not returned, get in the way of their friendship. He cherished Kyuhyun so much that he did not want to be apart from the man, but he just had to say it to him so he can be at peace. He tried to do it the day before using the pink sticky notes he had but threw it away the last minute. He couldn't be that cheesy, especially not when he doesn't know how Kyuhyun feels about him. Before he came back to their dorm, he decided that he would tell the maknae face to face and accept whatever response he gets.
Sungmin snapped himself out of his trail of thoughts and wandered his eyes inside the room. A small blush crept to his face when he noticed that Kyuhyun had pulled up his blanket to him. The room was pretty clean, cleaner that when he left- Kyuhyun must have done some cleaning. He yawned and stretch again and was startled at what his eyes and hand have landed on. How could he not have seen (or smelled) it? He reached for the already cold cup and took off the green note attached to it. He smiled as he was already sure that Kyuhyun was the one who prepared this. Sungmin took a sip of his sweet coffee before he began reading what was in the note. The coffee wasn't even hot anymore but he immediately had a bright red pink face and watery eyes. He dropped the piece of paper which had six of the most wonderful words (if you count the heart) Sungmin thought was ever written and dashed outside their room.

A/N: I would like to thank you first for taking the time to read my first fic, and I hope I didn't disappoint you too much. Also, thank you to all the writers of Kyumin fics that I have read before, you inspired me and gave me the courage to trust in this pure and fluffly love. *cries* Okay, I will stop now. PS.- THIS IS NOT AN AWARD SPEECH. I JUST REALLY WANTED TO HAVE A COMMERCIAL BEFORE I PROCEED WITH THE REAL ENDING. Yes, there is more. Because I'm a troll like that. >:3 mehehe~ On with the show!
Sungmin looked around the dorm with his doe eyes getting even larger. The green sticky notes were up everywhere in the dorm, all sporting the same words as the one he left in the room. He was contemplating about how Kyuhyun had known what to reply to him since he was pretty sure he threw all the notes he frustratingly tried to write before he left. But it didn't matter much at that moment- he was more interested in finding the man responsible for his overwhelming happiness. Tears were welling up Sungmin's eyes as he heard someone from the kitchen. He followed his ears and found Kyuhyun busily humming while he was (as Sungmin assumed) cooking. He chuckled lightly at how foolish the maknae looked with one sticky note stuck to his back.
The aegyo king walked slowly to the one in front of him, trying not to let him notice that he was there. He wasn't that quiet though, so he wondered why Kyuhuyn didn't bother to turn around at all. When he was close enough to see what was written on the sticky note on the maknae's back, Sungmin finally released his tears. He threw his arms around Kyuhyun's back, hugging his waist and repeatedly whispered 'yes' as the other put his hand atop the smaller man's.
"Kyuhyun, I Love You <3"
"Sungmin, I Love You Too <3"
"Please Be Mine?"
