Are you one of those people that doesn't throw away anything? I tend to be until I move. Given that my family moves about every 4 years now whereas previously it was every 6 months to a year, what I hoard can be ridiculous ( Read more... )

It's true. One reason I am not around much is I really don't have much to do on here anymore! And it's too quiet for me. I keep meaning to get my other blog up and running but I'm lazy you know. Maybe we should start emailing since I can't seem to catch you on chat! :)

Yeah... emailing would be a good start. What is depressing for me is that I used to email regularly with a lot of people here too. The boy cried last night that he doesn't fit in and has no friends and he overall feels neglected and lonely and now that he goes to a school were most of the students are as smart as he is -- he doesn't have anything to make him feel special. Also, his soccer league is a joke so he doesn't have that either when he came from the top team in St. Louis. It has been really rough here.

Thought it might be hard on him what with getting older it gets harder. You'll help him find something that really helps, I'm sure!

Want to send me an email that tell me what address you'd like to use? Oh I start nights next week too so it will be doubly hard to catch me. Woo-hoo.

Job... woohoo! And you can email me at the sabriel gmail address... the one where we chat. That would be best.

I can't bring myself to delete those conversations! I'm impressed!

But purging is a good thing so often! I am terrible at that.

:hugs:

I hope everyone is settling in well enough!

At some point they're going to disappear I think anyway. Gmail isn't going to let them just sit on the server for years and years. Sadly yesterday, I got my new mailbox set up and deleted my old mailbox without forwarding that mail and I lost a lot of emails from over the span of four years in regards to my daughter and son's school years. I am so disappointed in myself for doing that.

And I wish my son and daughter were settling in well, but they're not and that makes it even harder.

Sorry to hear the move isn't going so well! I hope things will improve soon for the kids. I hate that you moved away from St. Louis, since we're there semi-regularly.

I hate Facebook too. I run our social media for work and it's impossible to do anything that makes any sense, management-wise. And that's on top of wading thru all the crap on the feed!

Yeah... the longer Facebook exists, you would think it would get easier to manipulate and more user friendly; but no. I tried the liking theory but the more I liked certain things, they would go to the top of my feed and then everything else that I liked and wanted to show up seemed to disappear so I personally have not found that to work either.

Yeah... it stinks that I did move further away from you and G and that group of friends that allowed me to get together with you all.
