I'm sitting on the plane from Atlanta back to SLC. I feel like I accomplished a lot even though there is still a lot of uncertainty. I put in an application for a lovely condo townhouse in the Inverness section of Hoover in Birmingham. It's very close to work though my first week I'll spend in the tower downtown. That is truly awesome, I am so proud of you!

Sounds like you have a lot going on.

I love cooking with Gas, I wouldn't rent anything that didn't have gas, you can control your cooking much better with gas than you can with electric.

Jealous of the granite counter top and whirlpool tub.

We had terrible storms come through last night.

Thank you! Coming from the bravest woman I know, it means a lot. I've been dying for a whirlpool or airjet tub for years. I was going to redo the bathroom in my co-op but it was going to be too much money for no return. Now, let's see if I use the tub.

I know I'll use the granite counter top and the gas cook top. I think I've only rented one place that had gas. But that's what I grew up with so I've missed it. I agree about why.

That reminds me did you ever sell the place in JP? It's been so long since you mentioned it.

I love cooking with gas, I would miss it if I had to electric.

I do want a whirlpool or spa tub, I have a clawfoot tub, it's nice and deep but there is something about having jets, it's so much better I think.

When are you officially moving to Alabama? The first of the month?

No, I still own my co-op in JP. Painful but it is what it is. What I really hate is having to worry about whether I will need to pay rent in Alabama and mortgage/co-op fees in JP. That's a lot of money.

I move this Friday. My stuff will get moved sometime next month. I should find that out this week. This limbo period is painful. I start my new job next Monday. I'll live in corporate housing for at least a few weeks. My new place is mine as of 5/1. Assuming I have passed the credit checks. I want it all over already.

Wow! Sounds like your really moving up! :) I totally want a Rav4 too, but I have a feeling it's going to be a while till I'm there :) I'm glad you are doing well!!
