I probably won't make it because I can't drink (due to the little parasite) and my husband won't drink around me (because he is sweet), so this won't really be the year to make our cash donations count. But if we start feeling crazy, maybe we'll change our minds and show up anyway. :)

I can, but I'm really shy and socially awkward in large groups and alcohol helps. Also, I am freaking out about money because babies need a lot of stuff, so even though $5 a head is not much, I don't know if I want to spend it when I'm not drinking.

I know it's irrational, don't worry. :)

Well, there will be friends here for you to socialize with, and if you don't spend money on a costume (ie use what is already in your closet) then you saved that money. And I always make sure there is a balance of spots to make an ass of yourself versus spots to realx and have quiet contemplation :)

This year we are booked solid with performances through October including Halloween night otherwise I would be wrangling up my girls and our hoops and road tripping it.
