Now that I have apologized to Live Journal, I don't feel quite so awkward dusting the cobwebs off of my Live Journal client and adding a bit of mess to these entries ( Read more... )

I vote for Charleston,where it isn't cold.

I've actually found myself working as an SEO Content Writer recently, and while much of what I write is absurd and pointless, every once in a while I read something that tens of thousands of people read every day....so what if it's about colon health or investments.....

Also, you can make mad money writing pharmaceutical content, but they generally prefer people with a medical background. And a slightly damaged soul so you don't notice what you actually do all day.

Haha...I know that pharmaceutical companies need a medical background for the most part, but it was just the best example of something horrendous that I could think of.

I am just hoping something will work out!

I like writing medical stuff, actually, as long as it's not terribly techinical. What's really terrible is financial stuff - mortgages, investments, etc.

You'll find something fabulous, I have no doubt!

I must also put in a vote for Charleston, of course it's for purely selfish reasons. I think this city could use a little Sabrina charm....

Congrats on the interview at Skirt! (should I put another piece of punctuation here? I'm really not sure since the exclamation point is part of the name, yet adding a period would look rather silly...I'll let you make the call.) I will keep my eyes and ears open for you, in case they're crazy and don't snap you up right away.

Can't wait to see you in April!

Yaaay! Yeah...the magazine is called "Skirt!" with the "!" included. Let me know if you hear of ANY jobs that are Arts/Entertainment/Publishing oriented...I would do just about anything.

I'll see you in just a few weeks!

Yeah...she's at the Savannah Skirt! now, and they didn't have any positions, but she heard about one in Charleston and passed my email along. I did a follow-up email, and Chandler and I are going to Charleston the 1st week of April anyway, so it just worked out perfectly.

Thanks so much for giving me Aleigh's info. You are my hero (and if you can somehow convince Skirt! to hire me, you'll be EVEN MORE heroic.)

Yeah...do you know Kelly? Kelly Love Johnson. I don't even know how serious this interview is, but she mentioned that she and her publisher will be there...

Also, Will, from Chandler's band, his mom is the senior copy editor for the P & C and she mentioned that there is a clerk position available.

So, I feel like there may be possibilities everywhere!

Sabrina, I apologize for our relationship becoming solely professional over the past few months. And by solely professional I mean solely me reading your e-mails and never directly conversing with you. Therefore, professionally and personally, I hope everything works out for you and your endeavors. I have something I really think you should read and I will find a way to get it to you very soon. Cheers.

kyler.

I wonder if they have any jobs available...I went to "Careers" and only internships were listed. But I will definitely keep stalking the site.
