I really like the fact that you wrote about Fakir actually reacting to Rue changing into Kraehe. It always disappointed me they never had more time to deal with it, considering they spent years in a tense kind of understanding. The part where he thinks if she could go back to Rue and he would treat her better was just perfect. Thank you for writing this I always wished this pairing would get more examination

I wondered about that too - I understood his hate toward Kraehe/later Rue because of his desire to protect Mytho/those closest to him, but they couldn't hinted at Fakir's thoughts on the former Rue becoming his enemy. I'm sure he always thought Rue was harmful in a way, but definitely not in such depth as becoming 'the filthy raven'.
Plus, I figured that I had to do at least one piece involving that connection since I'm writing FakirxRue - it seems almost obvious to add to that part of Princess Tutu, especially since I'm writing their relationship the way it is.

Yes, I'm sad no one has looked more deeply into this pairing as well. I found the concept searching among boards and FFnet, and so I became really interested in the idea of Fakir and Rue actually having a love between them. I've thought about it for a long while now, actually, and then I spontaneously drew up inspiration for a one-shot, visited the 30_kisses page, and decided I'd write a whole thirty ficlets for the pairing.
