Onew and Taemin were sitting at the rooftop of the dorm again. Just like any other night, they had sneaked out of the dorm to spend some time together. They did nothing but just singing. Even though most of the time it was Jinki who was the one singing, Taemin did not mind at all. He loved his singing and never gotten tired of it.
The maknae leaned against his shoulder and listen attentively to his song. All his worries and weariness was brought away by the soft melody and his smoothing voice. They just look like a lovely couple in love. However, they were just having a normal senior and junior relationship. Perhaps even closer, just like brothers or even something more than that.
They had felt something different for each other…something they did not want to admit just because the whole world thinks that it is wrong. They had fallen in love with each other. Taemin was young and inexperienced in love. He could not figure out whether his leader felt the same as he did. If he did, he would love to be with him even if the whole world is against it.
Taemin really wanted to know what was his hyung feels for him. The only method the maknae knows was to ask and not beating about to bush to get an answer. And so he decided to ask.
“Hyung, do you like anyone now?” Taemin question the leader.
Onew shifted his attention onto the younger one and answer straight away without another thought.
“No. But there is someone I love.” Onew answered and turned his head back to enjoy the night scenery.
Taemin’s stomach did a back flip and his heart was clenched up. He was having mix emotion. First he felt happy that there was a possibility of being the person but at the same time afraid that he might not be the one living in his heart.
“Who?”
Onew smiled at his question, “someone.”
“Hyung, just tell me! I promise that I won’t tell the other members unless you allow me to.” Taemin started using his aegyo, hoping to get the answer out of him tonight.
“I’ll bring him here to show you.” The leader got up from his position and went out of the rooftop.
A lot of assumption was going through his mind and most of those are negative. If Onew is able to bring the person to him now, it might be one of the members. Or worse, someone outside and he needed to contact him/her to come over just for the maknae. Of course, there was a slight possibility that he might just bring in a chicken.
Whatever his leader was going to show him, he just hoped that the person did not like him back. It was an evil though. But when it comes to love, people are just selfish. Taemin was no different.
After waiting for a few minutes which seems to be like hours, Onew returned back with something behind him. Was it a phone? The maknae wondered. The leader took his original spot beside the younger one and hid his hand away from his sight.
“Are you ready to see that person?’ Taemin nodded nervously.
Onew handed something over to the dancer. Taemin had a good look at it and found it familiar. It was Key’s pocket mirror. He frowned a little, did he hid the person’s picture in here? Or was Key the person he loves? No matter what guess he might make in his mind, the only way to know the truth was to open it.
He lifted up the lid to reveal a mirror. There was nothing but a piece of mirror found in the box. The only thing he could see was his own reflection looking back at him. Was Onew playing prank on him?
Onew just smiled at the maknae and introduced the person he loved.
“Meet the love of my life, Lee Taemin.”
