And the cycle continues. (The end of summer 2008)

Oct 14, 2008 04:52

Yeah, its been a while...

For the most part, things are the same, and things are different. Since its been a while, I'll be nice and give you all a rundown of shit for the past couple of months.

1. the pictures you didn't see from california.

2. Quick Summary: Gasses leaked in our building, They had to find it. Cool Picture.

3. As you all SHOULD know, Yankee Stadium closed its doors in september of 2008. In august, I went to a game and took some pictures.

4. Where's Sace? (note, this is my extended family)

5. This is What I look like first thing from work.

6. I'm back bitches. if you don't understand what this means, then don't worry, you werent ment to understand it. If you do, then lovely, you'll know what its all about. Why? Nostalgic purposes mainly. I remember when I was younger and I saw so many ahead of me and I couldn't wait to get old enough to do the same. Now that I am somewhat past my prime, I walk around, and all I see is garbage. I want to inspire someone like I was inspired as a kid. Simple as that.

The end of summer was pretty weird. I didn't end up doing a lot of what I entended and it ended out in a frizzle instead of a spark. Aside from the picture links, nothing interesting to report on with that aspect. The birthday was somewhat interesting. The pictures really don't do it justice, but it was a cool night. Going back to the aformentioned title, things are the same. Birthday included. My family threw a little party for me and I hung out afterwards. The real difference here is that i've never been this age before, but I don't expect to feel "older" or any other significant changes. Only thing that changes is the number of years from your "spawning" to the current date. I do however feel greatful for experiencing this world for 26 years. Its definitely nothing to be taken for granted, and I look foward to many more opportunites.

Aiming a bit more towards my personal life, still going after both liscences, still going hard on the photography, (saving up for my camera) and still traveling. (Australia being the next target then Japan). Other than that, I am content with everything else. There's something else in the works in terms of my life, but theres no point in mentioning it because, I don't feel that it makes me who I am or what I will become, especially in this point of the game we call life. I'll mention it when and if it does become a big part of my life. Work is work, fluctuates from time to time. Currently its pretty busy. Lastly, My cousin, who puts computers together wants me to do a few side jobs for him. As of now, im not sure if i want to do this cause family and buisness doesn't mix. I think if i were to dabble in this possible opportunity, I would do it to learn a few more skills. Family and buisness doesn't mix, and he's known for being a bit selfish at times, so as it stands Im not sure if I'd fuck with him or not. (not litterally speaking)

Politics.
If you're not living under a rock, you're aware of both presidential candidates both democrat and republican. Personally I don't care what or who votes for whom, but I am really curious as to how anyone can vote for someone who openly stated that he doesn't know shit about the economy and supports the same ideology that has run the country down the shithole. If no one can see that america is a shell of what it used to be 4 years ago, then you're in need of a serious reality slap. Another clear example of McCain's prowess is his running mate. I don't dislike Sarah Palin, but I do blame her for accepting a position that she damn well knows she isn't able to handle. Not only has she shown that she's inexperienced, she's also reducing herself to a smear campaign that even McCain hasn't endorsed (the terrorist bit). You have to ask yourself, which of the two evils is worth the risk. Voting for someone who might be a bit inexperienced, or someone who has not only a bad track record, but has an inexperienced vp? I just hope that we all logically think about this. With our economy shot to shit, this isn't the right time to be focused on who said what, and who was supposed to do that, but more on what can we do now. Congress passing the first economic bill is the start,(after they started being pride-less bastards) the second would be reducing ALL government spending. Yes, Wall street did fuck america, but deciding to punish them by holding out on a Government bail out bill, not only screws them over, it screws america over. So, we can punish them later, but lets get our economy back on track. It's really disgusting to see that we can't even agree on whats best for us, and we're trying to save the rest of the world. A great example of this is Iraq, and how now they have a surplus, and now their stocks are soaring. I laugh at people who say that we're winning the war, when we not only have an economical deficit, but we've lost a little more over 1000 - 2000 american men and woman over this. Theres a time to fight, and then theres a time to save your losses. Point blank period.

Laaaastly, This is only the beginning, it gets better than this, bitches.
